Impeach, try, remove, repeat as necessary.
Just more reason to work harder and push through to victory.
Another defining moment of liberal logic.
Juducial tyranny....
Proving citizenship to vote? How about proving citizenship to run? When’s that law coming before the courts?
Early voted yesterday in NC. Gave them my name and address. No ID necessary as long as it matches up with what the nice lady had on her laptop. By the way, they also required that my cell phone be turned off. First I’ve ever been asked to do that. But, I suspect that had more to do with avoiding obnoxious phone conversations than anything else.

Wouldn’t a criminal, illegal alien’s oath be good enough for you? Why would you want proof?

What would prevent me from voting in all fifty states by absentee ballot if I don’t have to show a driver’s license or state ID in good standing? I’ll bet you anything that’s what’s happening nationwide. Liberals have no morals as long as they “feel the ends justify the means” (I had a very nice liberal tell me that a couple of years ago); conservatives are by the book lawful and moral and won’t do the same. That’s why we need twice as many conservatives to vote these next two election cycles!
It needs to be struck down and replaced with a common sense, simple law mandating pictured id. Heck, I'd even go for Purple Finger voting.
Ironic (and depressing) that so many in the Judical branch are hell bent on ensuring that the law ISN’T followed.
I think it’s time for states to simply ignore these rulings and let the court attempt to enforce them.
FYI there was an interesting exchange on Fox this morning. The panel was discussing the Arizona ruling and the leftists on the panel began to suggest that illegals and non-citizens be allowed to vote in local elections only. This proposal was clearly a trial balloon and the first step toward allowing illegals to vote nationally. Interestingly the host (Doocey) and the conservative panel member let this pass without a comment. This Camel’s nose under the tent proposal needs to stamped out ASAP.
From what I understand, the proof of citizenship requirement was struck, but the provision requiring ID to vote was kept. I downloaded the decision last night, but haven’t had a chance to read it.
Ping!
It is an overreach by a court with no jurisdiction in the matter. State sovereignty prevails here. Brewer should just ignore the ruling and direct that the Law passed by the voters be enforced. What are the Feds going to do? Go whine on TV? Write a stern op-ed in the NYT? That’s about it. It has to start somewhere - States need to start standing up for themselves against this tyranny. I would hope Rick Perry has the stones when its Texas’ turn.
