Did the President of the United States Describe Some Americans as Enemies?
National Review ^

Via The Hill:
Latino voters, the president said, would have an opportunity to send a message to Republicans, who Obama accused of politicizing immigration reform and the border security debate. Obama said pressure has to be put on the Republican Party if immigration reform is to become a reality.
And if Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, were gonna punish our enemies and were gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us, if they dont see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think its gonna be harder and thats why I think its so important that people focus on voting on November 2, he said.

Freepers call Americans the enemy every day...if they’re democrats or liberals or someone they don’t like. What’s the big deal?

Let’s see, he’s pandered to blacks, he’s pandered to women, he’s pandered to Hispanics (legal and otherwise). What a pathetic little man, trying to divide us one against the other in an effort to save his cheeseburger-loving hide.

Obama's daddy would not be proud of him. He's now adocated Mau-Mau-ing. (SEE: Kenya luo mau mau).
The Mau Mau rebellion/uprising etc was fundamentally a Kikyuyu happening.

"The president IS the enemy!!" Jim, you might want to check the FR spell checker. It looks like it's not picking up typos for "enema" ;-)

The difference is that none of us FReepers - that I know of - has been elected to the one position that represents, and leads, *all* of the people...
(A historical note - Richard Nixon was pilloried for his ‘enemies list’... Why should Obama get a pass??)

He's allegedly the POTUS. Bush would NEVER have said anything like that. He ALWAYS made it a point he was the President of ALL Americans. But then, he had class.

Barack Obama keeps proving time and time again that Dinesh D’Souza’s thesis about him is right.
Barack Obama will always choose the foreign criminal before he chooses the American people every single time.
Barack Obama’s hatred of the United States and American people runs deep.
It is the basis of his entire governing philosophy.

Boy, if they have that on video, we should make it go viral. And every Tea Party candidate should use it in their ads between now and the election!
What a gift! To have the President of the United States call those who disagree with him the “enemy”!
If that doesn’t illustrate what we’re talking about, then nothing will.
To: stuartcr
No big deal . Average citizens blowing off steam on a website is identical to the President of the United States doing what he does best , attacking those he hates and trying his best to divide even further . Whats the big deal ?

To some extent what you say it true. OTOH its not uniform either. Many here are able to discriminate between enemy and ally. Additionally, not everyone born here or naturalized is an American. Its a matter of principle not location, ethnicity or nationality.
