Freepers call Americans the enemy every day...if they’re democrats or liberals or someone they don’t like. What’s the big deal?

The difference is that none of us FReepers - that I know of - has been elected to the one position that represents, and leads, *all* of the people...
(A historical note - Richard Nixon was pilloried for his ‘enemies list’... Why should Obama get a pass??)

He's allegedly the POTUS. Bush would NEVER have said anything like that. He ALWAYS made it a point he was the President of ALL Americans. But then, he had class.

The President of the United States = most powerful man in the world.
Freepers = Zero power.

No big deal . Average citizens blowing off steam on a website is identical to the President of the United States doing what he does best , attacking those he hates and trying his best to divide even further . Whats the big deal ?

To some extent what you say it true. OTOH its not uniform either. Many here are able to discriminate between enemy and ally. Additionally, not everyone born here or naturalized is an American. Its a matter of principle not location, ethnicity or nationality.

The ‘big deal’ is that Obama is President and represents all the People.

He’s the friggin’ POTUS. That is the difference. The POTUS is you know the leader over all of us not just his political party.

Besides the points noted by other Freepers, a huge difference is that we can throw words and votes at him, while he can throw federalized police, troops, planes, tanks, and even nukes at us.

Freepers call Americans the enemy every day...if theyre democrats or liberals or someone they dont like. Whats the big deal? The President of the United States called on Latinos to "punish our enemies", the Republicans, and you don't see any difference between that and an anonymous poster on an internet forum calling Harry Reid an idiot? Wow.

Freepers call Americans the enemy every day...if theyre democrats or liberals or someone they dont like. Whats the big deal? Because freepers aren't sitting in the Oval Office with all the power of the U.S. Military at our command.
