Challenge to the MEN of Free Republic: RESPOND. (vanity)

When a country lifts up a man like Bill Clinton that defiled the Oval Office as none has ever done, the media throws their arms around him, he is not held accountable nor has HE EVER OFFERED THE MUCH TORTURED APOLOGY SO MANY CONSERVATIVES ARE ASKED TO DO, FOR MINOR SLIPS OF THE TONGUE....

Clinton should have hung his head in shame and and been ostracized from society. This lack of moral decency, a lowering of any standard of integrity other than some manufactured BS, opened the doors for a corrupt and lying Barack Obama.

We, the people, including the media should have rejected Clinton for his craven acts in our most honorable place. He should be invisible today.

But since so many citizens now are addicted to pornographic behaviors that they do not want to exorcize, once good people said nothing.

Come on, Free Republic people—especially the males—to be a decent human beings, you need to stop protecting the moral decay for your own tittilation and stand a stand, make a decision, take a side. It is required of you.

I notice again and again, when the topic is brought home, the males either rabidly castigate this as puritannical ( it is not, it about slow genocide at the altar of individidual and selfish base sensation)-—or they dive under a rock and say nothing while the world their families are supposed to thrive in, withers away in putrid decay.

And yes, violence is begetted, because love is lost and selfishness and loathesome, base addiction wins.

The bitter irony is that the fashionable target to attack instead is the church, religion, faith—while protecting the vile inhumanity of rank and devouring pornography flowing into every aspect of our living.

The church is not perfect, because it is made up of imperfect people, but her sextant is clear. Her tonic is essential.The church is always in the process of being purified, but it is not possible —on earth—because this is not heaven—for the church to be a shimmering and flawless place when in the hands of a flawed people. But those of good heart and high spiritual connection continue to protect her in God’s name.

Saying they have not “stepped up” IS BASHING MEN! You stupid women voted for Clinton the second he said, “I feel your pain. I love your children more than you do.”

Asking “Do males of this calibre even exist anymore? Is BASHING MEN! The losers you hang out with might be pussified to the point they have no backbone or moral fortitude, but we are out there. Maybe there are too many homosexuals in your life and you think the rest of us are that way.

Demanding “Stand up MEN“ IS BASHING MEN! You’ve no doubt told men to sit down and shut up but now you want a real man to stand up?

Saying “The future is up to the males, to take a stand for decency” IS BASHING MEN! You are saying they haven’t done that when they have and are.

Saying “the males either rabidly castigate this as puritanical: or they dive under a rock and say nothing while the world their families are supposed to thrive in, withers away in putrid decay” IS BASHING MEN! Your males may be metrosexuals, but we’re not.

Saying “especially the males—to be a decent human beings, you need to stop protecting the moral decay” IS BASHING MEN! You are accusing them of not being decent human beings and protecting moral decay!

Women are every bit as much to blame for pornography as any man but here you sit bashing men, blaming them for it.
Sounds like you participated in porno and now regret it. Did the Internet suck you in and you felt “pretty”? What was it, exactly, an overbearing boyfriend or a cocaine fueled frenzy and you found yourself doing a room full of guys on the Internet? Your fixation with porno and blaming it on men seems like a statement of self-loathing to me. Are you also a cutter? Got a few scars from thinking other teenagers were prettier than you? Lost your virginity at 14 to “fit in” and “popular”? What is it exactly that makes you think there is a moral decay that only men are to blame?

I am not interested in fixing, or shifting blame... I really don't mean to blame at all. My interest is in observing the problem correctly, and in conveying the most likely solution.

I would encourage you to observe the vestiges of female honor where they are most evident: The West and the South particularly. These are the last places where the American sense of genteel manners can be observed as a governing force within the subculture. Girls who care to participate in that culture, I can guarantee you, are still set apart and cherished as girls to "bring home to Momma."

And I speak with experience when I tell you that it is still common to see a full grown man, hat in hand, enduring an ever-so-kindly (yet viciously cold) upbraiding for overstepping the bounds of common courtesy.

Whoever is instigating the skanky behavior, I suspect the man of the house will have to answer for it in the end.

To be sure! God has put the responsibility upon the man. But we are not talking about the house. We are talking about the nation.

Our sense of these things springs from the English sense, and the Anglo/Saxon/Celtic sense still holds true till today:

Chastity has always been the domain of the female. It's counter in males is chivalry. One does not exist without the other. It is chivalry that must be required of men, especially by women, because that is what protects chastity.

And as an extension, chastity is enforced upon a man by chivalry in it's truest sense: the deflowering of a woman is a sin against God, and is also dishonoring the woman, and the father of the woman.

It must be observed that in all of history, this has only worked for the act of "deflowering," and in the later sense of honoring marriage (Therefore married women are made off limits)." But it is (and always has been) that female flower which is held as precious. Once it has been plucked...

So in that sense alone, the burden must fall first upon the woman, as the flower must not be plucked. If she is wanton, she will lose that precious commodity soon enough, and will sadly fall outside of the normal bounds of chivalry (as far as sex is concerned).

However, that burden is first placed upon her father, as her father (more than her mother, as it is invariably expected from the mother) must be the one who impresses upon her the immense value of chastity, and the careful selection of her mate...

So in the grand sense, the duty falls exactly where you'd put it: upon the head of the house. ;)

In closing, it is not that I disagree with you wholly. I have instructed my sons incessantly about chastity (as I have my daughters)... It is the formal, societal structure which is broken. And I think that one can point to feminism and the "free love" movement as the very thing which caused the breach. To say that is primarily the fault of men, and theirs to fix, is entirely false:

If women don't value themselves, what is there for a man to value?
