Yes, travel problems.

The difficulty with these "GW is going to mean disruptions of traffic due to landslides, etc." advertisements is that they assume people are too stupid to build roads, railroads and airports in better locations.

"BYPASS" is a word with meaning (and something I'd recommend to the folks who need to use that icy road in the picture).

Some of the GW stuff has been so bizarre that you'd have to imagine a billion people just standing there quietly as flood waters rose over their heads.

How appropriate Dr. Wanker would be a spokesman about the effects of climate change.

The Cooling World
Newsweek, April 28, 1975

[excerpts]

The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it.

(snip)

...droughts, floods, extended dry spells, long freezes, delayed monsoons and even local temperature increases – all of which have a direct impact on food supplies.

(snip)

Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede that some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve. But the scientists see few signs that government leaders anywhere are even prepared to take the simple measures of stockpiling food or of introducing the variables of climatic uncertainty into economic projections of future food supplies. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.

[end]

Theoretically the title is true, but what's the point? Any number of theoretical events could cause "travel chaos" as well, and most of them would also have no anthropogenic origin. Sheesh.

Fleur Loveridge-Wanker, a Ph.D. student at the University of Southampton, said.

Some people should really think about changing their names.

“. . . and we predict that next summer will be hotter than it has been ALL YEAR LONG!”

I made up the quote, but then again, maybe it’s been said somewhere by a global warm . . . rather Climate Changeist.

Looks like this wanker at the University of Southampton hasn't heard that the other wankers at East Anglia University already tried this scam?
And they weren't PHD graduate students, they claimed to be actually serious scientists with decades of experience.

Unfortunately, they destroyed records and proved themselves to be ethically challenged. Meanwhile, real adult scientists worldwide uncovered a clumsy conspiracy of deceit, intimidation and fabrication that has tainted science for generations.

Ain't buying this BS even a little bit.
