Congressman Norm Dicks: 17-term incumbent Democrat in Washington. Chairman of the House Interior and Environment Appropriations Subcommittee. Represents a D+5 district that includes parts of Tacoma and Bremerton and Port Angeles. Barack Obama carried 57 percent of the vote; Dicks usually wins with 60some percent of the vote and hit above 70 percent a few times.

Once again you are exactly right and why I said the voters are being misled when they consider Dicks the pork-daddy who’ll save Boeing.

The Boeing thing is very sad and an illustration of liberal anti-business sentiment infecting every taxing entity in the state. Tax collection from the Fed and State taxing agents to the Mulkiteo City government (undoubted the worse actor of all the cities that host a Boeing facility), PUD’s, hospital districts, and all the other junior taxing districts involved in extorting their small but “fair” share of Boeing’s income to a point of saturation that no business entity could survive. A nickel here a penny there on every dollar of income Boeing generates, soon Boeing has nothing left from the dollar because the government has it all.

Meanwhile, the unions continue promoting the same thieving politicians and misguided philosophy to the hourly employees using several of the original sins to the point they are watching the jobs that some families have had for three generations leave the state for good. It’s not a pretty sight.

The military and 2 wars are now just jobs programs. The wars are meaningless now because an islamic is in the white hut. It is all about our kids getting killed to amuse the saudis and islam. They have been sold out. The public idiots get fooled and confused by TV which is ALL crap including Fox.

I figure on a net loss of House seats for Republicans in 2012. Kind of an 1896 situation.

I’d wait at least until after the vote. There are so many races which could go either way.
