A stagehand working on the stage set up for President Obama's appearance in Los Angeles was told to go home when he refused to remove his hat and shirt honoring the aircraft carrier named USS George H. W. Bush. His son is in the US Navy and serves on the ship.
Link to the USS George H.W. Bush website
And the above is why I'm so peo'd about Juan Williams being fired for stating a simple truism. I have always respected that man even if I didn't agree with many of his political positions.
But he was the only liberal pundit I have ever seen that would say things on Fox News and other media outlets like, "I understand your point" or "that may be the case" or "I agree" or "you make a solid case" or "I may wrong", etc. A liberal honest person. Name we one other liberal pundit who admits when they are wrong.
Saw him today filling in for O'Reilly. It's clear he is going to become the next Bernie Goldberg who was also once a liberal, until his brain kicked in and took his heart off his sleeve.
and War Protestors. Everyone else is too racist to have rights.
Although by then, a Obama shirt would just bring laughter to our side!!
Phuck them.....
But it had the name "Bush" on it, so the guy was forced to take it off or go home.
As far as I know President Bush 41 war hero, and overall good guy, isn't running for anything, so a man building a set for Obama shouldn't have been punished. And actually, his son is under Obama as Commander in Chief on that aircraft carrier.
Not a valid comparison at all.
Not all of us in Nevada voted for Obama. A lot of us are conservative and voted for conservatives. We are still voting for conservatives.
Get the facts before you make a blanket statement.
“The sweatshirt was from an aircraft carrier. It wasn’t any kind of campaign apparel”
Why would Obama supporters have knowledge of anything to do with the military?
That’s expecting too much of them.
I’m sure that the Messiah will try to set this guy up front-and-center at the rally as a political prop, just to show how “tolerant” they are.
I like your thinking, but I'm betting he won't be hurting for money by then :D
Hostile Work Environment. California is pretty tough on those guilty of this. Even filing a report with California Dept. of Labor - Standards Enforcement is enough to kick off an investigation. Liberals are so stupid.
There are AMERICANS....
...and then there are Liberals.
“...But don’t question the patriotism of liberals...”
And yes...I DO and WILL question their patriotism, allegiance, and loyalties. Always, loudly, vociferously.
Until THEY prove otherwise. And so far, their track record is miserably treasonous.
I can see where this is good for Americans in the long run in a sad way.
It has to piss off the other guys in the Union that he got sent home. Just like I bet that they resented being forced to attend the rally they had.
The more the Unions push and bully the workers the worse it will be for the Unions when it all blows up in their faces.
I feel sorry for the guy, but maybe there is a higher purpose that can be gained from it.
I hope none of the union grunts have old Lincolns parked out in the parking lot.
Like Bush, Lincoln was a Republican, ya know.

How can you question that which doesn’t exist?
God and Patriots forbid, but IF ever there is a USS Barrack H. Obama, it would have to be crewed entirely by illegal aliens, homosexuals, and thugs from Chicago.
Or it would be bearing the flag of China or worse; but then it wouldn’t be USS vessel.
Every day I wake up and realize that Mr. Obama is POTUS....I just keep thinking it is a nightmare.
God have mercy on this country though we don’t ever deserve it.
“The libs are showing their true colors this week. I dont think theyre red, white, and blue either.”
...Well, maybe red.
We need a kinder, gentler Union.
