Californias U.S. Senate race between Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer and Republican challenger Carly Fiorina remains a virtual tie with less than two weeks to go until Election Day.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Boxer picking up 48% of the vote, while Fiorina draws support from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.
Last week, Boxer led Fiorina 49% to 46%. Boxer was reeelected with 58% of the vote in 2004, but despite California's strong Democratic tendencies, this race has been close all year. The incumbent, who is seeking her fourth six-year term, has held a small lead in every survey but one since February with 42% to 49% of the vote. Fiorina, a former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, has earned 38% to 47% support in those same surveys.

the “early voting” process has me wary. In 2008 I discovered that The Los Angeles county recorders office was manned by very democrat looking clerks ( all black) handing out provisional ballots to a hundreds long line of very militant liberal looking individuals. There were hundreds of people in line every day for weeks before the election, no poll watchers in sight , just LA county sherriffs watching the crowd.
no identification required whatsoever, just wait in line, give a name and declare you have no mailing address and you get a ballot. I saw one individual turn in his ballot, I followed him outside past the long, long line, and he got back in line
the Polling places have poll watchers, but the final tallies are done behind closed doors at the County Recorders offices where anything can happen
Only in SF LA and along the coast.....has something to do with the salt air fog......
It's the mild climate that helps create an aura of unreality.
SF is a prime example - the temperature varies about 10 degrees between winter and summer.
California became a cesspool because:
1. Every degenerate crazy nutjob decided to leave their hometowns to come live the “California Dream”.
2. Illegal immigration.
But I see a brightside to this depression we’re in.
All those fruits, nuts and illegals will go back home because there’s not going to be any money for them to sponge off.
“Sorry to see you leave, but don’t let the door hit your ass going out.”
Who would have thought a year ago that there would be any tight races in CA? I’ve done my bit by making sure that my young niece and nephew are registered, and they’ve both promised to vote. Conservative, of course—they were brought up right. Kudos to my sister and her husband for that!
“Ive done my bit by making sure that my young niece and nephew are registered, and theyve both promised to vote.”
A friend of mine andf I are doing the same thing with his college aged children and their friends. They know the stakes, their whole lives, happiness, and prosperity depend on what they do today. They are all gonna only only vote but also pull the R lever.
We have 8 of them so far and working on a couple of others!
Go Carly Go.....Send Ma’am home!
I think it is The Conservative Journal
Brilliant! Thanks.

LA Times got the memo and today/Sunday have a phony poll with Boxer at 50 and up 8 points.
These phony polls have a impact on the masses, I would love to see what would happen in politics if polling was banned in the last month prior to election.
With all due respect to the man, who cares what Michael Reagan thinks about this race (or anything for that matter). He is the adopted son of Ronald Reagan.
It means getting feet ‘on the ground’ to go door to door if necessary to encourage people to go vote for your candidate. The phrase ground game as opposed to putting your message over the airwaves in tv and radio, though I think the phrase ground game has been around a while. Back in the 1930 s and 1940s in Chicago they used to have people giving out cash to people who would go vote. In a case where a few 100,000 votes makes the difference, and during the great depression when $2 meant a lot, a mere $400,00 would ensure 200,000 votes. While that may seem like a lot for the time, consider that the winners controlled the city and all government contracts and directed all feudal funds allocated to the city.
While that was encouraging, this is California where the Dems enjoy a double digit lead in registered voters. I think Fiorina can pull off a very close upset. I would be thrilled with Boxer's defeat.
Very likely, and especially with Fiorina hot on her heels.
