If you’re correct, I’m sorry for my reaction to the kid. Heck, I like kids, I’m a mom and a granny... but this one just rubs me wrong. Sorry if I sounded harsh.

I heard Glenn Beck say the other night that he knows 30 congressmen who actually sleep in their Washington offices because they can’t afford both a DC residence and their own home district residence.
My situation is different. My in-laws live down the street.
They are huge libs. So my kids are indoctrinated from within my own family.
We have restricted time they spend with grandad and nana.
We have to watch everywhere, not just media outlets and schools.
I wish Rush would have told that kid that he already owes more in taxes than he will probably ever make at a job, if he can find one.

That would be rough. And I am sure the in-laws think that indoctrinating your kids is their civic duty. That’s generally the way the leftists think. The woman from the LWV was upset. She said that the audience had disrespected her. She said she was “forced” to say the Pledge and that it had “obviously been planned”.
I have a hard and fast rule, sandals go in the closet on or before November 1, there is no such thing as ‘winter white’ and God made cotton to be worn year ‘round...you just ad layers a’ la Preppy Handbook. I was shoveling the big snow last January in shorts for crying out loud :-O
