Cong. Jim Moran of Virginia says that his opponent has no "public service", but opponent (Col. Patrick Murray - US Army-Ret.) served in military for 24 years!
Hey, he may have fought to save his country but he never once passed a dog-barking ordinance in his whole career.
I have no doubt that Col. Patrick Murray’s public service differs from that of the consistently ignoble “public service” of Moran.
Get A Brain, Moran.
Moran the MORON strikes again!.....................
Congress is the biggest disservice to this country.
The term “public service” has been so sullied by career political ass clowns that slop at the public trough their entire life, that I almost hate to hear it applied to military service.
How about, “Public Service” and “Patriotic Service”?
Bump!
“Moran” is a “moron”
Actually, in one sense he’s right. Military service is far, far more honorable than what “public service” has devolved into these days. On that basis the two really shouldn’t be lumped together because there really is no comparison. Military service is far and above being elected to public office. The overwhelming majority of “public servants”, especially elected politicians on both sides of the aisle, are a rank embarrassment to the country, given the policies they have enacted on a local, state and Federal level. The outright theft being perpetrated by Congress alone is tantamount to treason in many cases. Elected politicians and the bureaucrats they hire are destroying the country top to bottom while enriching themselves. Military personnel are living in miserable hell holes, giving up their lives daily for very little in return in a desperate attempt to save what is left of America for future generations to thrive and prosper. Absolutely no comparison whatsoever.
I wish there was a way to make a national political argument over the fact that democrats, by and large, are attacking PRIVATE BUSINESS, and suggesting that only public employment is honorable.
So many of our candidates who have success in the private sector are being attacked by the liberals for actually being successful businesspeople.
I consider my military service to be just that...military service, and not public service. Not that that idiot knows the difference.
Is Moran still beating up 9 year old kids?
I’m good with it if (to include this klown Jim Moron into the equation) you say, Public Service, Patriotic Service and Self Service...;-)
