News analysts at NPR – we are told – are held at a different ethical standard because they are news analysts and not commentators. I’m not sure what the difference between a news analyst, reporter or a correspondent is, but I think I know a commentator when I see one.
Juan Williams definitely expressed his opinion on Fox News. I’m not so sure if he expressed his opinion on NPR, since it seems, all of his stuff has been wiped off the site.

I think Cokie Roberts was grandmothered in because of her mother, Lindy Boggs. She makes the rules at NPR and is the epitome of the ruling class.
Do I understand correctly? We are to keep an eye out for possible terrorist activity and inform law enforcement when we are suspicious of something we see or hear.
But we cannot be suspicious of Muslims. I guess we can only be on the alert if we are keeping an eye on an elderly white woman.
Well, this arm of the ruling did hear yesterday from the “country class”.
When Catholic priests in cassocks and Catholic nuns in full habit start blowing up planes, then I will start feeling nervous around people dressed in full cassocks and habits. Until then I will take the rational precaution of being wary of anyone dressed like a muslim.
