Hello Kathy....as usual I noted this post as it ran by...affects the heart every time. Has moved me to pray...may others join at their convenience and in time.

Father God,

We are always and ever affected when this very sad news arrives that yet another of our brave troops has fallen. Words are hard to express when what matters is a matter of the heart. Though we may know them not, they are well known by you Lord and prayerfully with you now....... Still, there are family members and friends affected....but I think sometimes none so much as those soldiers who have stood along side these who have left..... We pray particularly for these men now Lord. May you cover them with your love and comfort as they mourn the loss of their comrades....let their hearts be encouraged to continue in their missions despite the sorrow they bare...and we ask that you bare that for them as they steadily do the work they are called to..... Protect them and grant them courage when it seems there may be none...and may they lean on your arm to see them thru...... We ask this in your Sons name...Amen.
