Could the voters produce a Republican sweep thorough enough to whisk away Dennis Kucinich?
It's hard to imagine. It's harder yet to get one's hopes up. But a very credible Republican candidate is running against Cleveland's unrepresentative representative this year, and residents of the 10th Congressional District should be falling all over themselves to elect him. His name is Peter J. Corrigan. He's a businessman with expertise in the financial side of companies and -- of all things -- physics. In other words, he's not stupid.

Fortunately, only four have become law. Their effects:
The Ukrainian Museum and Archives has a copy of "Window on America," a TV program the U.S. Information Agency beamed at Ukraine in 1998.
Revolutionary War hero Casimir Pulaski is now an honorary citizen of the United States.
A Cleveland post office has a new name.
Another Cleveland post office has a new name.
He’s more effective than I thought.
Perhaps he can be mayor again, that worked out so well.
> ... very credible Republican candidate ...
A speed bump, a styrofoam cup, would be a more credible candidate than Tin-Foil UFO Kucinich.
But it’s good to see a normal person running against this twit.
“In other words, he’s not stupid.”
Seems to me the inferrence is Kucinich IS stupid.
And that’s on the money.
Did you read the comments after the linked article? Wow, the homos really try to shout a discussion down. I’ve noticed this behavior for the past few years but it’s really getting strident now. It’s not working, though. The voting populace is better educated on topics and the choice is very, very simple.
Cleveland gets the representation they deserve.
She’s actually only 5’2” — with heels.
LOL!!
So that makes him !’4”..
Owe-bama’s approval rating here in Ohio is at 33%. Portman’s double digit lead in his Senate race, plus Kasich’s growing lead over Strickland in the Govenor’s race could easily produce a total sweep of Ohio by the GOP.
I usually have a party at my house every election night. I can’t imagine how much fun it would be to learn the likes of Reid, Boxer, Frank, and Kucinich all being FIRED in 12 days.
But I am warming up to the idea.
I read the replies also, and it’s very disheartening that many people in NE Ohio cannot see the forest for the trees. They keep voting in the same corrupt, ineffective politicians because they’re addicted to the crack of government intrusion in their lives. It seems that there are few of us hard-working, conservative Ohioans left to try to take the State back from entitlement addicts.
As a Cleveland native, I must agree. It's beyond sad.
Apostle Claver tells the world how the real party of racism is the Democrats
The 10th was represented by a Republican (Martin Hoke) just prior to Kucinich. Hoke managed to defeat 8-term Rep. Mary Rose Oakar in 1992, a heavily Dem year. So it’s not totally out of reach for Republicans.
