Bill O’Reilly Defends Himself Against The View Walkout On The Factor

Joy Behar gave her side of the story re: walking out while debating Bill O’Reilly on The View today, and of course O’Reilly was going to use his own show to examine the incident. He did so, and right away, looking back on what happened during his show’s opening segment.

O’Reilly, of course, still doesn’t think he was in the wrong for saying “Muslims killed us on 9/11,” saying that after all these years, we can plainly see the difference between terrorists and “peace-abiding Muslims.” He added he just wanted the audience of The View to see a different viewpoint, as clearly, Elisabeth Hasselbeck excepted, the women on the program generally disagree with O’Reilly on, well, almost everything.

Laura Ingraham also joined in as a guest, saying her “ears [were] bleeding” after hearing the most explosive part of the interview. She also called Behar’s and Goldberg’s behavior “mind-blowing” and said the walkout seemed “contrived,” although O’Reilly said he indeed wasn’t expecting it to happen.

O’Reilly did run into some troublesome territory when he talked about the folly of having to say that “Muslim extremists attacked us on 9/11.” One of his comparisons was that we didn’t say “Japanese extremists attacked us” in the time of World War II. Of course, remembering that our treatment of Japanese people during World War II involved this, this might not be the best analogy. We still say, however, that even though Behar and Goldberg returned later, walking off the set during a debate made O’Reilly look like the winner.

Joy Behar may be the most angry, vicious woman

Michael Savage refers to Behar as the "Fish Mongers Wife" and goes into a spiel about the wives of fish mongers in New York City.

That says something about be a fish mongers wife .

My mother, she's 76, didn't grow up in New York, but San Francisco. She used to use a phrase, "Carry on like a fish monger's wife" , to describe someone who was loud, obnoxious and never shuts up. That suits Behar to a t.

BO'R is smug and self-satisfied because the hullabaloo is all about HIM, not so much the point he was making prior to the walk-out.

Barbara Walters, who produces The View, is undoubtedly also smug and self-satisfied because of all the publicity generated by the incident.

In fact, everyone involved is happy because it's the job of each of these TV performers to roil up controversy, shouting matches and attention by any means possible. Tabloid stuff is what they thrive on and what insures steady pay checks for them all....including The Bloviator.

O'Reilly is a populist/socialist liberal, a "fair and balanced" poseur....and the second biggest narcissist in the country.

"Smug and satisfied" is his middle name, not "fair and balanced."

When I saw those two idiots storm off the stage, leaving O'Reilly and Hasselbeck against only two leftwing screaming nuts instead of the usual four, my first thought was that's the first time I've ever seen it actually "fair and balanced" on that network.

So even though I usually consider O'Reilly to be something of a self-aggrandizing pompous ass, I had to give him the thumbs up for climbing into the belly of the beast and giving them high colonic...
