Republicans will have President Barack Obamas czars and his use of regulatory powers to circumvent congressional inaction on issues such as cap and trade in GOP crosshairs if the party takes control in January.
Since taking office, Obama has named more than 30 czars (though the exact number is hard to pin down) without Senate confirmation and congressional oversight, and together they hold power over everything from the environment and bank bailouts to the auto industry. The presidents practice of naming czars has garnered criticism from members of his own party, such as the late West Virginia Democrat Sen. Robert Byrd, who called it unconstitutional.

No new business until all the damage 0bama and the Democrats have done is addressed and reversed.
Nice thoughts, but, but, but,
we have to get past Nov. 3rd to Jan. 15th or so...
Lame Duck period may be crammed full of 10 or so republic-destroying bills.
We can only “Hope” can’t we.
The Republican Congress will HAVE to stick together.
With Snowe, Collins, McCain and other “moderates” in the Senate, I just don’t see anything of substance really getting done.
no dirty deals no compromises no reaching out no bipartisanship!
I'll say this, Sheets Byrd (may he rest in peace) did get it right every now and then.
message to zero 11/3/2010 - WE WON
bttt
How many Collaborator will be in McLames new gang? What will it be called?
Maybe ‘The gang of RINOS’?
But Byrd did nothing about it.
I’m sure the czars will be resigning when the Pubbies win to avoid prosecution and being dragged down with the Obama regime.
If we consider ‘08 as a probe, by our enemies and opportunists, (those that Washington warned we shouldn’t be tangling with) we failed utterly.
We’ve also nearly failed Franklin on the ‘if you can keep it’.
Everybody gave the ‘American Experiment’ 200 years to fail.
I think those doubters were referring to the Fed, not the States to take over for the Fed when ‘it was time’.
Time is now.
Episode IV
A New Hope
The Republican Congress will HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER.
I just don’t see them doing that. There are too many RINOs desperate for Keith Olberman’s praise. :(
the date of change of office, should be shortened to 30days.
that, or those voted out of office should NOT be able to vote on ANYTHING after election day.
You Damn Rights!!!! The Fraud has such a clusterf@#! It will take awhile to get things straightened out.
Gridlock is good enough for me. Anyway, it’s entirely too soon to be doing the Chicken Little thing. It is a fact that The Usurping Onada’s rush to socialism has been pretty much blocked by people already in office—with a big push from Tea Party conservatives. To say that even larger conservative representation in both the Huse and Senate after the November mid-terms will somehow not be even better for our side is ludicrous.
I would like those of you who are of the above opinion to explain your logic.
Yeah, like cockroaches scattering about when someone turns a light on.
