Obama: Republicans Will Have to Learn to Get Along With Me

President Obama reveals in a magazine article that he is weighing what to do if Republicans win the House majority next month, and has come up with a novel approach: Make the GOP work with him.
In a seeming twist on the post-1994 midterm calculation made by President Bill Clinton -- when Republicans pummeled Democrats in the congressional election -- Obama said he thinks Republicans will have to move in his direction no matter the outcome of the Nov. 2 vote.
"It may be that regardless of what happens after this election, they feel more responsible," he is quoted saying in the Sunday edition of The New York Times Magazine, "either because they didn't do as well as they anticipated, and so the strategy of just saying no to everything and sitting on the sidelines and throwing bombs didn't work for them, or they did reasonably well, in which case the American people are going to be looking to them to offer serious proposals and work with me in a serious way."
Accusing the public of mistaking his abilities, the president also told the magazine that he's a little taken aback that voters are disappointed with the current turn of events in his administration.
"The mythology has emerged somehow that we ran this flawless campaign, I never made a mistake, that we were master communicators, everything worked in lockstep," Obama is quoted saying.

I think you're right, although I also think he is rather stupid, as well.
Bill Clinton, as much as I dislike him, is a far better politician, is far more intelligent, and is much more grounded in reality. Clinton was capable of assessing the situation in which he found himself and altering his course to reposition himself to his own advantage. I don't think Obama is at all capable of doing that.
That only works if the House goes along with it. Legislation originates there. I’m anticipating a more conservative and responsive representation in the House. While they can’t pass anything without the Senate and the W.H, or a supermajority in the Senate at least, the same holds true for McCain and his allies.
Pres. Obama has absolutely no clue. None. Nada. Nix. Nil. Any other dolt would die of embarrassment.

No, I want him to push it. I want him to stick his nose in the air, jut his chin out, puff up his chest, and strut like the tin-pan dictator he is.
Then I want the newly elected Republican Congress to stiffen their spines and derail the little commie tin-pan dictator at every turn until his gets left at a siding, while the new Congress defunds every piece of commie legislation and investigates every subversive anti-American “czar”, especially the perverted “education” czarina who specializes in teaching little boys how “fisting” works.

Every time Obama speaks, a Democrat loses his seat.
Actually, he's setting up a rerun of the 1995 budget showdown, when Clinton cut off all the government checks to show the public and all the Democrat client groups "who's your daddy".
He's setting up a crisis showdown over the first GOP budget, to seize back the political initiative like the Clintons did, and neuter the 'Pubbies like 1995-6.
There was also a major, in fact the "majorest", MSM hate-campaign against Newt and Dole. That's when the term "Clinton-hater" was coined by a hag scribbler for TIME magazine, at the very moment they were miles deep in Newt-hate.

I think we need to find something a lot less worthy to compare Obama to. Say, like something you'd find at the bottom of an outhouse shaft.
He will be lucky if the GOP does not impeach him by summer.
In contrast, Obama has offered a stonewall sandwich.
I still think it was (and will be) a good idea for Boehner (or whoever) to go to the White House every Monday morning, and when turned away, to eat an Egg McMuffin on the sidewalk......and do it every Monday.

I read stuff like this dribble coming out of Obama’s mouth and I instinctively want to laugh....until I remember that this rabid dog has his finger on the red button.
Then the 'Pubbies will have to impeach him, to "represent" to the Dims that you can't send up exponents of thug life to the White House.
The Hillary campaign claimed that he was not a Professor since he was not tenured,and was merely a lecturer. Since he is so opaque about his life I am going with Hillary’s researchers on this.
