Ann Coulter has a taxonomy problem. For her, pretty much anyone to the left of Rush Limbaugh is a liberal. And if they're a liberal, they can't be Christian. So what does that make Mike Huckabee, who's an ordained Southern Baptist minister and slightly to the left of Limbaugh? We found out last night when Coulter appeared on Huckabee's show: (video at link)

Barney is having to fight for his seat. Reid is too, but Nancy looks too safe. Although almost certain to lose the Speakership, she will likely be re-elected...And there are too many others...Too many close races where she could have lent a helping hand with her sharp wit.
It’s good to see she’s not afraid to tell it like she sees it...That’s why I like Ann. I just think that now is not the time.
It’s election season. It’s rat hunting season.
Rino season opens up later.
Go Ann! I don’t want Huckabee anywhere near the primaries.
Don’t you think it will be worse for Pelosi to still be in the House but to be in the minority and see someone else holding “her” gavel?
There’s no such thing as a “liberal Christian” - it’s an oxymoron, the two words are mutually exclusive.
Personally, I think it’d be worse for her to have to watch it on CSPAN at home like the rest of us private citizens and her road to hasbeen gets an early start.
Even as a senior representative she’d have too much power and her attitude to lord that power over us is just too much for me to stand. No, I don’t want her just defanged. I want her neutered and put out of the house entirely.
Actually, if you’re askin what I want to see....if she gets hit by a manure truck this afternoon during her press conference...
I agree with you as a matter of theology but the plain fact of the matter is that most Christian denominations in America have been completely taken over by collectivists.
I hate how Huck thinks he's the Tea Party fav. It means we haven't been bashing him enough.
No, there can be Christians who are fiscally liberal, just not socially liberal.
After all, not every Christian can handle the doctrinal meat yet that some of us can (such as those concerning fiscal matters), but no true Christian can be a social Liberal as it runs directly counter to the demands of the Scriptures.
He’s a rino. He reminds me of W’s “can’t we all just get along” crap.
So are they really still Christian denominations?
If a church (the physical building) is no longer used to preach the Gospel, but instead is used to preach against the Gospel, can it still be truly called a church? If not, then why do we still continue to call these denominations “Christian”?
...and an accessory to murder.
How about General Tommy Franks instead?
I’m an ordained SB pastor and agree, “he is a liberal” as defined biblical principles.
Huckabee stayed in the primary race to take conservative votes away from Romney. Then he wouldn’t switch gears and run for a winnable Senate seat. We ended up with the stiff McCain for a nominee. At least we got Sarah out of it!
Huckster’s place on TV should be at 3am, selling Magic Liberal Elixir. I wouldn’t trust him if he told me what time it is.
I respectfully disagree. The Tea Party is doing a good enough job pummeling the open liberals, we need someone to help pick off the McCain Jr’s waiting to hand Obama his 2nd term. We need Flipper and this guy on the ticket like a hole in the head come the open primarys down the road.
Ann who??
Oh yeah. She’s that skinny thing. There used to be a time when she was relevant.
And no thread about her was complete without pics.
Her 15 minutes are over.
Huckabee nailed her for supporting Romney. She was like a deer in headlines when confronted about her support for Willard.
