President Obama would trounce former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) in a hypothetical match-up for the 2012 presidential election, a new poll found Tuesday.
Obama leads Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate, by a 16-point margin, the Bloomberg News National Poll found.
Fifty-one percent of likely voters said they would vote to reelect Obama in a hypothetical match-up against Palin, who drew the support of 35 percent of likely voters.
Ten percent said they likely would not vote in an Obama-Palin contest, and 4 percent said they were not sure.

It does mean something. Specifically, it means that Sarah Palin is nowhere near as popular among the general public as her ardent supporters would have you think. It's a measure of people's perceptions of her qualifications.
Note that it's really more than a 16-point gap for Palin -- there's that other 10% who would vote for neither her nor Obama.
But of course, none of that matters to a True Believer.
By my count, it’s a small squad. I think although I cannot be sure. that they have a problem with strong women.

Sarah, like Dan Quayle, like both Bushies, like Gerry Ford, like Reagan, like all Pubby candidats in our memory is stupid! No quotes around stupid are required, as this is the image that has been successfully promoted and planted by the MSM, as long as any one of us can remember, and that has caught on, and has caught on so well, that I have heard it in foreign countries from educated, well informed people. Only Reagan among them all was able to overcome it.
