Poll: Obama leads Palin by 16 in 2012 test
The Hill ^ | 10/12/10 | Mike Obrien

President Obama would trounce former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) in a hypothetical match-up for the 2012 presidential election, a new poll found Tuesday.

Obama leads Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate, by a 16-point margin, the Bloomberg News National Poll found.

Fifty-one percent of likely voters said they would vote to reelect Obama in a hypothetical match-up against Palin, who drew the support of 35 percent of likely voters.

Ten percent said they likely would not vote in an Obama-Palin contest, and 4 percent said they were not sure.

Palin herself has begun to push open the door further toward waging a challenge to Obama. She said in late September that she would run "in the name of service to the public" if no other adequate candidate were to step forward.

Fortunately, Sarah, there should be several adequate candidates stepping forward. Carry on with your TV career.

Bloomberg poll? Bloomberg is another stooge for Hussein’s bosses the Saudis. They own TV - the six USA TV networks, DC and loads of politicians.

She probably can beat Obama. Not sure if she is the best choice. It sure “ain’t” Romney, Newt, etc.

If 51% would vote for Obama against anybody, it’s a sad day for America.

Read my tagline, Sarah would do as well as any, better than most. You really believe she would do a worse job than a left wing idiot with zero experience?

From what I see, he STILL has zero experience, unless playing golf and screwing the country up counts.

No need to fret...the GOP base will nominate Romney, or another “real man” to defeat Obama, lol!

It will take a real man, so that eliminates the usual suspects - Newt, Huck, Mitt, TPaw.

Pissant possesses a disturbing and consuming hatred for Sarah Palin. So much so that it effects Pissant’s reasoning.

Who’s your guy? Why are you spending all this time doing the left’s work demonizing Sarah Palin?

Are you still a Duncan Hunter fan? Remind me never to vote for him. Not that I’ll ever get the chance.

I'm sure that the 100s of 1000s she paying to political consultants will help her flesh out what she believes are 'common sense conservative solutions'.

Of course, she could just read FR and figger it out for free.

Not sure if she is the best choice.

When's the last time "best choice" and "Republican nominee" were the same thing?

If this year was 2012 she might have a shot, but we’re going to have 2 years of constant media BS piled on Republican and Tea Party members when they take over, bringing us down from our high now.

I would happily call her my President, but I just don’t think enough moderate sheeple will ignore the MSM to vote for her when they get done slinging mud. It would be close, but I think she would lose with another 2 years of negative attacks while we are controlling at least on chamber.

Bloomberg’s likely voter matchup in Congress shows Dems at +2. Gallup shows -13 or -18 depending on the turnout model. Let’s chat after the election about Bloomberg polling accuracy ; P
