Howard Kurtz quoted MSNBC president Phil Griffin in two stories in Monday's Washington Post, and both quotes seriously strained credulity. In a front-page story on how politicians campaign on cable news, Griffin tried to argue that they're not simply a Democrat talking-points factory and promoter of Democrat candidates. Oh no, claimed Griffin, just because Republicans choose to decline their invitations doesn't mean they're in the tank for the DNC:
The reality, said MSNBC President Phil Griffin, is that "politicians want to hit their base." But "we're different than Fox," he added. "We ask for people to come on from both parties all the time. We can't control who comes on. A lot of people choose not to, and they choose to go to Fox....We have so many different voices. We're not trying to push Democratic talking points, as some people accuse us of."
Uh, yeah, okay. I really believe this.... ;-)
Yes, one glaring difference being that people actually watch Fox.
This stuff isn’t even funny any more. It’s just insulting. You’re in the tank for the Democrats. You know it. We know it. Don’t lie to us about it.
They’re not trying to, it just comes so naturally. They’re so biased they think “fair and balanced” is something to make fun of.
But you CAN control who does NOT come on................
Most guests want be seen by more than 3 or 4 viewers, Phil.
The jig is up Phil. Don’t waste your breath.

They can no longer tell the truth from a lie - and they don't care.
explains why so many dems appear on Fox then.
If the left were honest about their intent, their goals, and what they actually thought about people,
they’d have a following of about 2% of the population.
We’re seeing it happen - the more they “come out”, the less popular they are.
Really, it makes sense, when you examine their ideology - it’s downright Luciferian. And thus, it is steeped in lies and illusion.
ZING!
LOL - THAT's gonna leave a mark...
What a joke.
MSNBC shows never allow opposing conservative “analysts.” The only conservative voices they want on are the candidates so they can trick them up and get a soundbite (see Rand Paul).
Whereas O’Reilly bends over backwards to appear fair and balanced. Even Hannity brings a lib on his GAP (although lately the token lib is an ex-lib (caddell, schoen).
Just a quick addup...
Looks like FNC has more viewers than all the others combined.
I guess people DON’T like to be lied to.
“We can’t control who comes on.”
And you obviously can not control your own Marxist moron that pees on himself over his lust for Obambie.
FNC: 1,201,000 viewers
Everyone else: 1,179,000 viewers
I watch MSNBC news while I’m on the treadmill at my gym.
Their talking points resemble the ramblings of Art Bell or Alex Jones.
