Lambert has agreed to heed restrictions against stripping, jumping and kissing onstage, said Yuen-See Cho, a representative for concert co-organizer Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia.
"It's something I'm doing out of respect," Lambert said in an interview with the AP ahead of his Hong Kong concert. "It's just one little thing. Man kissing another man is something that government really doesn't appreciate."
"I think it's a tough decision to make, but to me, there are so many amazing fans in Malaysia that it's more important for me to be able to come and do my show there for them and entertain them and thank them for supporting me," he added.

In recent years, several female Western pop stars, including Stefani and Fergie, revamped their wardrobe and avoided skimpy costumes to perform in Malaysia.
My point in posting this is that Islam demands respect for their culture and sensibilities and gets it because these "artists" are all about the money. Why can we not teach our own children to respect themselves enough to not want to see Adam Lambert's unabridged act?
I don’t know who Lambert is, but I assume his show is pretty gross and tasteless. The only thing that is making him show “respect” is fear, however, and I’m not sure we would want to blow up or behead people who have tasteless variety show acts, the way the Muslims do.
Besides, most people in the US and Europe are just fine with this trash. Maybe we need to start instilling a better sense of what is decent in our own people so that they won’t go to see these gross shows to begin with.
Even Malaysia has people stupid enough to pay to see this no talent freak pretend to sing.

Every country has it’s cultural norms. I remember the 70’s and Kiss could not use their logo in Germany because it looked too much like the old Nazi SS symbol.
