I hope they stay well away from downtown.

I wouldn’t want to get in any trouble.

When Biden came for here last week, UW students complained about all the old people there to see him. Lots of empty seats, too.

Hope you’re right. Have the same feeling about O coming to Oregon to campaign for Kitzhaber. Kiss o’ death.

“where is Obama going to appear next? UC Berkeley?”

He couldn’t fill the auditorium at Wisconsin-Madison last week. That’s right up there with Berkeley. Things just ain’t like they used to be.

Hmmmmm.

Biden was in Tacoma last week, and Bubba is scheduled to be in Everett on Oct 18 and Michelle Ma Belle is due on Oct 25. Now they decide that Bambi needs to shuck and jive into town next week, too. They must be worried (hee hee). He was here campaigning for her during the primaries in Aug.
May have helped then but here’s hoping it doesn’t help this time.

Thune was here for Dino; and, Michael Steele made some stops in WA and OR on his ‘Fire Pelosi’ bus last week. According to the quote below, it doesn’t look like Dino will have anyone else coming in. I’d LOVE to see Sarah, but I’m not sure how well received she’d be in Seattle (maybe the Eastside). I would think Eastern WA would definitely come out for her.

“Murray said this year’s election is a choice between moving ahead with economic recovery or returning to what she called unsound Republican policies.
“President Obama has always been someone who pushes to move forward and fights for the working families of Washington state and our nation,” Murray said in a statement. “I am proud to welcome him back to the state.”

“Rossi’s campaign countered that Obama’s visit — and those of the other high-ranking Democrats — show that Murray is out of touch with everyday Washingtonians.”

“Sen. Murray continues to hold events with the D.C. insiders she works for, while Dino Rossi is meeting with voters across the state who are looking for a leader in the Senate to represent them,” Rossi spokeswoman Jennifer Morris said.”

This is our first almost all mail-in ballot. The SoS is predicting a large turnout (hope not too many of them are fraudulent and A LOT of them are Pubbies):

“Ballots are being mailed to voters this week in Washington’s almost entirely vote-by-mail election. Secretary of State Sam Reed is forecasting a relatively high 66 percent turnout from the state’s roughly 3.6 million voters.”
