More than one week after its extended deadline, New York still hasn’t mailed out absentee ballots to all its 320,000 military servicemen and women and overseas voters, in clear violation of the MOVE Act, FoxNews.com has learned.
According to the 2009 MOVE Act, a state must send out its military and overseas ballots 45 days prior to elections.
New York was granted a waiver to this deadline by the Department of Justice and given an additional 15 days -- until October 1 -- to send out all its ballots. On October 5, New York State Board of Elections co-directors informed federal officials that the state had not fully met their extended deadline, according to an e-mail posted online at FVAP.gov, the website of the Defense Department agency tasked with overseeing military voting.
In an e-mail sent October 5, New York State Board of Elections co-directors Robert A. Brehm and Todd Valentine wrote:
“County Boards of Elections have reported to our office that UOCAVA ballots have been transmitted to voters within their respective jurisdictions except in the City of New York, and the following counties: Erie, Niagara, Putnam and Westchester.”
And, as of Oct. 9, these ballots still have not been mailed to voters in these counties, who will now have less than 25 days to receive, mark and return their ballots, federal and state officials told FoxNews.com. New York City alone has about 50,000 servicemen and women and overseas voters.

If ever a Supreme Court Cert. Pet. was needed wih Mandamus in aid, it is this situation. WHY DOESN’T A VETERAN’S GROUP TAKE THIS TO SCOTUS????
The blinders are off, and we’re aware of their dirty, evil, cheating tricks. Those despicable cowards and vile thieves don’t deserve the benefits that the country derives from our military personnel. They should be in solitary in federal prison where they can’t poison any more people’s minds with their utopian fever dreams.

Well I am sitting here listening to Fox talk about Karsai DESPERATE to play let’s make a deal with the TALIBAN!
We have a situation where:
1) Soldiers being denied RIGHT TO VOTE!
2) Our Soldiers being killed in Afganistan while the Pres of that s***hole is making deals with the very terrorist that are KILLING our Soldiers.
3) SILENCE from the VFW & all Vet groups.
4) American Citizens SILENCE on this issue.
5) A President and administration that is doing NOTHING on any of the above issues.
Bring our troops home now, or Impeach this President.
If I am wrong that our troops are nothing more than targets for the Taliban, and this Pres. is encouraging it, tell me.

This is a direct result of the State being unable to certify the election until weeks after the primary.
New machines (Required under HAVA) and untrained poll workers are to blame.
When I worked polls we had to go to a training class. Does just anyone get to show up and work the polls?
Perhaps untrained was not the best choice of words - “inexperienced” is better.
Very few counties had any real-world exposure to the new voting systems. Every one was a “first-timer”.
Counties had the option of using the new machines last year. Those that did fared better.
So that’s why the absentee ballots were delayed.
Deliberate.
After the election, they will go before a judge and say since the ballots were mailed late, the deadline for returning them should be moved back. A judge will agree.
The Dems will now have time to flood in enough fraudlent mail ballots to throw the election to whoever they want.
