Sarah Palin sure has some fair-weather friends. In Alaska, when Joe Miller was still a nobody, Palin's endorsement put him on the map and pushed him to a primary victory over incumbent senator Lisa Murkowski. Now it's the general election, and Miller has to appeal to a broader audience than the GOP diehards who vote in primaries. So when he was asked point-blank this week whether Palin is qualified to be president, he merely acknowledged that she's constitutionally eligible.
In Delaware, Palin endorsed Christine O'Donnell five days before her primary bid against well-respected Mike Castle, who was widely seen as the favorite to win. But now O'Donnell needs to steal moderates away from Democrat Chris Coons to have any chance at another upset in November. So when O'Donnell was asked on CNN last night whether Palin is qualified to be president, she replied, "Is she running for president? Again, hypothetical."

Give it a rest.
I don’t know why not.
She’s got more qualifications on her resume than Stroker does.
I’ve never been able to really grok the “qualified” meme.
and we find it strange that you would be the one to point it out./sarc
Yup
Unlike our current president.
Give it a rest Pissant. You are obsessed. I think you have a mental disorder.
SARAH PALIN IS ABSOLUTELY QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE USA!
That being said if one of the qualifications be that she served as a community agitator, then she’s not qualified.
Perhaps her haters and detractors resent the fact that she is a plain-spoken conservative and says it like it is!
Perhaps her detractors resent the fact that she is a wholesome, attractive female. Perhaps they want someone like the notoriously homely and stupid Carter. Or perhaps they want someone colorful like the sick Billy Goat Clinton.
I wish they’d leave it alone for awhile, two years away. AND she is way more qualified than the idiot in chief we have now.
I categorically think she is not qualified. Maybe constitutionally, but the reality is she had only a short tenure as governor. Has little or no foreign policy experience or savvy. She appears to be a front-runner only in respect to the fact that she is a celebrity. Yet, having said all that she is infinitely more qualified than the current occupant of the white house who isn’t even fit for the job of community organizer.
The question was asked to distract voters from the issues.
This is silly. Here, I’ll do it: Sarah is qualified for the office of President! There, that wasn’t so hard.
After watching a slick community organizer sail into the oval office with no platform (save for vaporous hope and change), I can’t believe that any person has the gall to even bring this up as a concern.
Read Sarah’s book, it’s full of reasons that she is qualified, she’s tough and fearless and she’s not intimidated by the usual meanies ( liberals, the media, biz big shots, the GOP, environmentalist lobby, TV women, the gay lobby, etc).
On top of that, she’s the ONLY conservative leader to figure out how to control the message! She doesn’t engage on their media turf and it drives them CRAZY. The liberal tantrums she generates should tell us this: she’s got their number.
yeah she is very qualified(She’s got my vote ) but it is best to leave it alone for now. the MSM doesn’t care and 2 years in the political arena are an eternity away.
In 2008,I cannot remember a SINGLE instance where ANY member of the democrat party was asked by the media if Barrack Obama was qualified to be president.
Presidential requirements ONLY apply to members of the GOP who are not part of the establishment as defined by the media—John McCain etc,.
She’s over 35, a natural born citizen, who has lived in the U.S. for the past 14 years. Those are the only qualifications needed.
Personally, I think that Sarah is a political genuis who is going to bring a tsunami of change. Those who under-estimate this incredibly charismatic and plain-spoken, intelligent woman do it at their peril!!!!!!
Go, Sarah, go.
It is a conservative woman thing, her 18 years of political involvement and leadership, dwarfs Mitt Romney’s 18 years, yet he is treated as a wizened political master of the universe because he finally won an election, served a single term before being refused reelection, and left office a failure, with a 34% approval.
The difference is that Mitt Romney is not one the greatest conservative forces that this nation has ever seen, so he receives approval from all of the power structure.
Romney is not a deal changer, a movement leader, a world shaker.
