I’m with you on that. In fact, I think I’d be more than a little bit distrustful of any candidate that was truly qualified for the job. To me, that would indicate a lifetime of political pandering in order to acquire all that qualifying experience.

When I see anyone beating the drum for Romney or McCain or any of the other professional politicians I automatically question the motives of the candidate... Is he in it for the glory or to serve? Professionals are always in it for the glory.

It’s the newest set-up line. I read something here about local candidates not being qualified because they have no gov’t experience. Well, how do you get that other than by running & serving?

Gov’t by citizens is what the Founders expected. The left wants it to be by specially ‘trained’ elites.
