Harry Reid: Voters are blaming me because they’re selfish little children or something
Hot Air ^ | October 08, 2010 | ALLAHPUNDIT

This ought to finish things off.

Extending his sense of empathy into perhaps dangerous territory, he tells a local newspaper how his mother struggled to afford Christmas presents. He says the experience helps him understand why people might blame him for their economic plight. “I wanted to get some presents on Christmas morning,” he told reporters and editors at the Reno Gazette-Journal. “I was a very selfish little boy, and I was upset that my mother had to go through all this. Whose fault is this? And that’s what people are going through. I didn’t know who to blame but I wanted to blame somebody.”

He’s working hard — for you — and yet all you juvenile little ingrates can do is whine that there are no jobs under your Christmas tree. Don’t you think Daddy wishes he could put some there? He spent $787 billion (from your piggy bank) to try, didn’t he?

So Harry Reid wants us to blame his mom for a bad economy?

Harry, most of us have grown out of being self centered

To watch Reid lose will be sweeter than to see Thune take out Daschle.

I’ve never forgotten the time Harry talked about some kid coming up to him in a restaurant and telling him he wanted to grow up to be like Harry. In the first place, I don’t believe it, but in the second place, I couldn’t believe he had the nerve to SAY that to people. Get over yourself!

Hearing him whining about The Little People demanding some accountability from him makes me wish harder for his defeat.

Pinky is getting crabby, going senile, and losing his touch.

If he were not such a liberal zealot and egomaniac he would have retired at the end of this term.

If he were a rational person he would cite his stroke and the usual “Desire to spend more time with my family”, retire, and spend his millions having normal type fun for the rest of his days.

Apparently imperious power is his only joy, he just cannot give it up voluntarily.

We should take pity on him, and force his retirement Nov. 2nd.
Then he will have time for therapy, mental and physical.

‘To watch Reid lose will be sweeter than to see Thune take out Daschle’

Know where you are coming from, but my Congressman is Alan Grayson, so you know what my sweet tooth is aching for.

Let me see if I get this right...

So when Harry does not get his way, everyone who disagrees with him are selfish little children or something.

Little Harry Reid, his friends and his corrupt family are nothing more than human debris upon society…

If he wants a fight over what the Constitution SAYS - as opposed to what he wants it to mean and corrupt judges acquising - he loses.

The Constitution does not SAY that the “commerce clause” overrides the rest of the Constitution and its amendments.

The Constitution does not SAY that Congress “can do anything we want”. Congress has only enumerated powers.

The Constitution does not SAY that the states are subject to the federal government.

Harry, you are toast. Even your own son is against you.

“If Reid is ahead by 11 among registered voters but behind by 2 among likely voters, as they’ve deemed it, that would have to mean he’s behind by a 20 or 30-point margin among unlikely (registered) voters,” Mellman said. “That’s just not a reasonable construction of reality. They’re just not that different.”
Someone help me here. Shouldn’t that read he’s ahead, not behind.unlikely (registered) voters? Is it too early on the east coast and my brains not functioning?

Actually, this does make sense, if Reid was talking about Dem supporters.

Many in the Dem's rank and file embrace the idea that they are ENTITLED to low-cost housing, financed by loans that they can default on and throw back on the "Fat Cats" their leader has taught them to blame.

Many in the Dem's rank and file CHERISH the idea that they can blow off insurance, pay a small fine, but then DEMAND the exploitative (again, as taught by their leader) insurance companies have no choice but to cover them.

Many in the Dem's rank and file WORSHIP the idea that in return for taking cash paid into a fund by union members, and giving that cash to politicians, their wealth and privilege will be protected by laws rammed through by those politicians, even if doing so throws the burden further down the line, onto the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of our citizens today.

Many in the Dem's rank and file are CONVINCED that, just as the government has long paid rediculous sums to corporations to NOT farm a crop, the 'organized communities' in many of our cities should be paid not to work.

Yes, those people will turn agaisnt their nation like spoiled children, when they learn that not every day can be Christmas.

Don't forget, in the story the kid was carrying a skateboard but there aren't any sidewalks or places to use one in Searchlight Nevada.

No, they're blaming you because you're a rat and you blindly followed the lying head rat, America's foreign occupier, every step of the way. Now it's time to go Harry.

Do you remember him telling that story, too? That was the moment I went from merely disliking his politics to loathing him as a person.

Don't worry, Grayson cannot possibly win.... Unless voters down there are absolute imbeciles.... Oh wait....
