Media Mad Maddow: GOP Candidate Tangles With MSNBC Host in Wild Interview
The Blaze ^ | October 8, 2010 | Jonathon M. Seidl

Posted on 10/08/2010 6:15:59 AM PDT by Wilum

The segment started promising. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow began her interview with Oregon Congressional candidate Art Robinson (R) by telling the audience she was “delighted” to have him on the show. But delighted was soon replaced by words such as “criminals,“ ”communists,“ and ”concerned.”

Maddow was trying to to accuse Robinson of receiving a de facto $150,000 campaign contribution because a third party group produced an independent ad apparently costing that much. The ad targeted Robinson’s challenger: 12-term Democrat Rep. Pete DeFazio.

Over at DU they are spinning it that Maddow totally eviscerated the Conservative.

Unbelievable.

I guesss he had to call her Maam because she didn’t have a titlr that she worked so hard for. On the other hand, he could have called her “sir”.

yes, the alphabet Mediascum networks are one vast sinkhole of billions of dollars of agitprop for the Democrats

I guess we can regard all of that as a criminal conspiracy now, eh Rachel Madcow?

Seems like an orcherastated soros strategy. Move On and Obama have both been attacking the funding of ads from opposition. Very hypocritical. They tried to pass disclose act to counter the supreme court ruling but failed

this will probably will come up again in lame duck.

Still don’t understand why any sane Republican would go on, or be interviewed by any of the lying freaks from any of the PMSDNC freak shows.

Absolutely right...

Calling a dike “ma’am” is like calling her June Cleaver.

It has always puzzled me why Republicans go on shows like Madcow and Nerfball. But if they are going to go on those shows they might as well give ‘em hell like this guy did.

I don’t usually listen to NPR but I caught some of it yesterday and they were flogging stories about funding of conservative oriented issue groups and ads..... they were obviously doing the propaganda work of their masters who would never ever question the propriety of Media Matters or all of the union-funded groups on the left.

“Do I care about your sarcasm - No” -

Freaking owned.

I love the irony of Madcow running assaults nightly against Reps - but wants him to explain “contributions in kind”.

He made her look like the juvenile she is.

But what is the point to going on her show and defeating her as if the audience for that show can be reasoned with?

I agree.

I know a woman who watches MSNBC, and you can't talk to her. She hates Fox News because Olberman does. She recently told me she loves algore. It's like banging your head against a wall trying to reason with a liberal.

“One thing I remember was that he called her maam throughout interview.”

That probably ticked her off more than anything! I believe Rachel would rather be Rick Maddow.

He’s running for a position based in Eugene Oregon, so in order to reach the base appearing on MSNBC is a good idea. The voting pool in Eugene in crazy liberal.

I wish more Republicans were combative like this.

Too many times our candidates respond like catatonic lawyers while their opponents tear them up.

Hopefully we’ve learned some lessons from our past failures.

This interview represents the elitism of the left. How does Maddow find it remotely possible to tell a graduate of CalTech that he doesn’t understand the meaning of “sarcasm”?

It is scary, isn’t it?

I think PMSNBC just wants to capture their nitch - far left idiots. But it is surprising when you hear someone say something like”Rachel maddow investigated that. if it weren’t for her hard work, ...” -
