Ronald Reagan would be up there with Michael Steele in a spirit of unity if he were still with us.
That being said, I will still focus my financial support on conservative candidates and not send money through the RNC system.
I’ll let the RNC take care of the moderates with their money while I help take care of the conservatives.

Ummm, hasn’t the strategy always been to take over the RNC by Conservatives? How can she orchestrate that takeover if she is outside? Sarah has never claimed to be anything except a Republican. I hope she takes over the RNC as Chairwoman, she basically is acting Chairwoman already.

Youre wasting your breath, spanky. When push comes to shove, the conservatives are going to demand a man of substance and wisdom breadth. Who's your candidate?

Good catch. Some of us know what that means.

Sure.
She's building an organization in addition to her grassroots efforts.
First, develop the base.
Next, get ahold of the machinery.
Then, mow your opposition down...effortlessly.
This woman knows exactly what she is doing, and if for some unfathomable reason she chooses not to run in ‘12, she'll be in a position to make damn sure whoever does will need her stamp of approval, more than anything.
King-making at it's finest!
(But I still think she will run, and be the nominee.)

That’s a good point, counterpunch. We need a candidate that conservatives like Peggy Noonan will approve of.

Who's your candidate?
pissypants is a Hunter drone, but since he's slowly realizing that Hunter will never be President, he's moved down to about #3 on his list. Last I knew, DeMint was #1 on his list. Jim DeMint is a great conservative; however, he's made some mistakes. He fully supported Lindsey Grahamnesty. He endorsed Myth Romney in 2008, and backed RomneyCare in Massachusetts. Pissypants' problem is that if any of those sins had been committed by Sarah Palin, they would be mortal wounds that resign her to RINO status. If Hunter endorses Huckabee, it's a momentary lack of judgment, but he's right back in the saddle, flogging away for Hunter. If DeMint endorses Romney and Graham, same story. But God forbid that Palin endorse McCain, the guy who nearly made her VPOTUS. For THAT she's a RINO, through and through.
But, hey, if it weren't for double standards, pissypants wouldn't have any standards at all.

Pissant has issues.

Your GOP back then controlled the house, the Senate, and the presidency. They changed alright-For the worse. And because of it they lost all Three. It could not be any clearer than that...You are wrong. The only way to bring about change is to force it to change at the ballot box, and not vote for Rino’s.

0bama won an unprecedented 20% of conservatives.
And that was WITH Palin running against him.
Those are just the facts.
I don’t know how you turn that into an argument that Palin is the great white hope.
The problem with Palin’s followers, as with any cult, is they mistake their own intensity for widespread appeal.

0bama won an unprecedented 20% of conservatives.Newsflash: Peggy Noonan isn't a conservative. Neither are Colon Powell, David Frum, Kathleen Parker, and all of the other frauds that supported Obama. No conservative in their right mind would vote for a leftist like Obama.
The problem with Palins followers, as with any cult, is they mistake their own intensity for widespread appeal.
Supporting Palin does not a cultist make. You sound like a leftist with your kooky accusations. And by widespread appeal, I assume you mean someone who is acceptable to liberal frauds like Peggy Noonan. If not, name another potential candidate with more widespread appeal than Palin.
To: death2tyrants
I’m not sure why you are latching on to Peggy Noonan here.
I’m talking about what the 2008 exit polls revealed.

If I was wrong I apologize. It must have been another issue I remember debating with you.
