True dat... so far the only prog rock bands inducted have been Pink Floyd and Genesis. And the latter wasn't terribly "progressive" after the mid-'80s.

While I recommend the RR hall of fame it is what it is.
They tend to induct top 40 acts.

You would love Dos Amigos here in Odessa. They showcase lots
of Texas bands and it’s a crazy small place with pretty big
names that want to be there.
I saw them open for U2 in 1982 when U2 actually was good.
J Giels blew them away as far as energy.
Later, in 5th grade, when (forced) to pick up a
clarinet; after the first lesson on reed wetting.
I spent many hours again figger’in out The Hymn.
My music teacher thought I was a prodigy, till
he tried to teach me Beethoven.
I love that it is called a Hymn; for it is.
Too bad I have 4F meat on my bones. I’d loved
to have been a Marine.
I think so. Though Lieutenant_Flagg caught me listening to Lady GaGa this morning on YouTube and said he couldn’t be friends with me any more :)
