Republican Susana Martinez now has a 10-point lead over Democratic Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish, moving the New Mexico governors race from a Toss-Up to Leans GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard.
The latest telephone survey of Likely Voters in New Mexico shows Martinez, a county prosecutor, receiving 51% support, while Denish picks up 41% of the vote when leaners are included. Three percent (3%) favors another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

Likely MSNBC headline: Far-right poll shows dead heat in NM
I remember right after the primary, all the usual suspects were saying this was going to be a really tight race, but Denish had the upper hand, blah, blah, blah.
If this is indicative of what’s happening throughout the SW, then Reid should be toast in NV. NV’s economic situation is worse than NM, I believe, at least in the LV area.
Feingold is finished :)

Excellent!
Very good news. Thanks for posting.
Martinez will make a good governor and we’ll be stuck with a real liberal governor here in Colorado.
Way to go Susana.
BTTT
Go Martinez!

Yes, Martinez will make a good governor and we’ll be stuck with a liberal Dem. governor here in Colo.
WOO HOO! WTG Susana! On a personal note, please be thinking of me as I work Balloon Fiesta this morning. Am getting ready to step out the door and I got about 3 hours of sleep because I was so worried about not hearing my alarm. =/
Don’t forget the next Governor Nevada, Brian Sandoval.
And Jaime Herrera, Washington State Congressional hopeful.
That’s great news...the dems are busily manufacturing fake ballots to “find” in someone’s closet. I hope there is a plan by the Republicans to stymie the usual vote fraud.
And also don’t forget Congressman-to-be Quico Canseco from TX-23.
Hope you made it o.k. Watched it on Channel 7 down here in Hobbs. Great morning for a launch. I image the loss of Abruzzo and his co-pilot is on everyone’s mind. I don’t know why helium is not used for those long flights. The Hindenburg proved that over 70 years ago.
