Vanity: Three Cheers for Obamacare!!!
self | 10/01/2010 | self

Today my previously announced 20% premium increase for health insurance through Regence Blueshield kicked in, and by coincidence I also received a packet in the mail from them regarding the cancellation of all their current plans, with new ones replacing them.

Rates will of cource increase yet again in January, and one of the nice new provisions for ALL their plans is the fact that nothing related to anyone's pre-existing conditions will be covered for nine months.

I called and asked questions... and when I asked about the pre-existing condition deal, I was told that the H.C. bill did in fact have "fine print" allowing the insurance companies to do this.

All I can say is I can't wait until 2014 to hear all the libtards scream when they're forced to buy these useless policies.

Proof that Democratic policies can only be sold to voters by telling the Public lies.

The Pope and Nancy Pelosi are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd.

The Pope leans towards Mrs. Pelosi and said, “Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy?

This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they’ll forever speak of this day and rejoice!”
Pelosi replied, “I seriously doubt that with one little wave of your hand? Show me!”

So the Pope backhanded the bitch!!!

AND THE CROWD ROARED & CHEERED WILDLY!

Kind of brings a tear to your eyes, doesn’t it?

Here in MA, the hoe of RomneyCare, my increase was only 6% (although the price was already exorbitant). I guess that means I’m lucky since I’ve already been paying for most of the bad features of Obamacare because of MA requirements. That is, cost shifting to me of no-pay illegals’ premiums, and coverage for a wad of things I’d rather not pay for, like chiropracters and mental health counseling.

mental health counseling

They did that here a year or so ago too, requiring us to pay for that despite not wanting it... that one accounted for another $140/month or so if I recall. I guess the liberals do probably have great need for that... so naturally we responsible ones who actually buy insurance have to cover it.

Wait a minute - if a person is diabetic or on chemo none of their medications will be covered for 9 months!?!

Oh Shit! We are a company of 25 and our rates are now $28,000 per month. Don't know if we can handle a 66% increase!

Goodbye cadillac plan! Hello Obama Death Care!

Just in time for the election. Sorry, rats.

That's what I was thinking. It's bad that these rate increases are occurring, but the timing couldn't be better for our side. When you think of all the pissed-off folks in the country who have just been informed that they're getting screwed on the premiums, a high percentage of them, even the former Obozo voters, will be going into the voting booth pulling the lever for the GOP.

Worst piece of legislation in many years....by the people who think they are smart and “moderate”.....

Mainstream Dems are liberal....left wing Dems are Marxists

WE can’t afford both Social Security and Medicare....I suggest lowering the Medicare age to 49 and phasing out Social Security and all payroll taxes......

Then let the States solve health care their own way......

My idea is to get rid of mandatory car insurance and subsidize emergency rooms or contract with them to deliver a service........out of consumption taxes on food and gasoline, beer, wine, soda, etc.....

Taking old people out of the system helps employers and drives down costs for young people....as so does subsidizing or State contracting with emergency rooms....
