Also watching at home on television were at least five whistle-blowers who noted that the Reds were violating Ohio's indoor-smoking ban. They called Cincinnati's health department to report the team and now the Cincinnati Enquirer reports the club is under investigation.

ok, Ohio and Kentucky conservatives and libertarians, you now have a golden opportunity to push back at the imbecility of nanny state liberals, who would even ban victory cigars for a sports team celebration!!!
liberalism truly is a mental disorder
just try to imagine the mentality of people (at least 5) who see the Reds celebrating on TV, notice the cigars amidst the champagne, and think “oh my, I’m going to call the Dept. of Health and make sure these guys are in T-R-O-U-B-L-E”
It had to be Phillies fans, not bed-wetting liberal pantywaists.
This is what happens when we (dumb America) elect democrats.
OH, THE HUGE MANATEE!!! In celebrating winning the division race they lite up a few cigars - big Fn deal!!!!!
Reds won tonight, so they still have an outside chance at #2 seed and homefield in NLDS. They need to sweep the Brewers. Put the ceee-gars out and get your head back in the game!
Hitler didn’t like to smoke. They’re just following Der Fuhrer’s wishes.
“just try to imagine the mentality of people...”
Oh, I don’t have to imagine. I had a couple of dopey hippie type neighbors complain twice to my local government, because I was smoking cigarettes outdoors, on private property, outside a private residence.
When I told them they didn’t know the laws and refused to stop (I actually might have accommodated them if they had just asked politely), they had the nerve to call me a profanity. The girlfriend was yelling from inside her house, at least 40 feet away from me, “I have the right to live in a smoke-free environment!”
Truly, some folks are just flat out bonkers.
They should pay the fine and fire the snitches, problem solved.
The fines get paid out of the snitches salaries.
It’d be nice to find out which legislator(s) introduced (and voted for) that bill and vote them out. Nice timing so close to the elections.
The fines get paid out of the snitches salaries.
I agree with one exception. They should very publically ask that reasonableness be applied to the circumstances, and the fine be dropped. Then, when the liberal jackasses at the Cincinnati health department take great delight in demanding the fine be paid anyway, they should mark the price of each ticket purchaser's payment towards the fine on the ticket prices for all Cincinatti home games next season.
Let the fans do the talking for them, and see how long the Cincinnati mayor takes to fire the head of the Health Department.
sounded like the whining wankers were watching on TV, not necessarily anyone present in the clubhouse
*Put the ceee-gars out and get your head back in the game!*
No shi’ite...smoke something after you win the NLCS and not a moment sooner.
I grew up in Boston in the 1960’s. You’ll remember the Celtic’s coach, another Red, Red Auerbach. Everytime the Celts had a lead coming down the stretch, Red lit his famous cigar. The fans loved him for it. Probably half the people in the Garden had cigars and it added to the festive atmosphere. Bruins fans were also cigar officianados. Bring back the good old days. They can’t be beat.

Whenever you decide to move, rather than selling the house why don’t you rent it out to the most ghetto sh!tbirds you can find (with lots of angry, unemployable male offspring)? Your progressive neighbors can then demonstrate their liberalism, as the smell of burning crack wafts into their “airspace”...
Today, the “whistleblowers” report smoking.....
...tomorrow, they report conservatives.
The snitches don’t work for them, they saw it on tv and called in.
