Lawmakers also are postponing a major fight over taxes, two embarrassing ethics cases and other political hot potatoes until angry and frustrated voters render their verdict in the Nov. 2 elections.

What is so tough about NOT raising taxes? Is that like NOT giving themselves a raise?

They're raising taxes....that was tough. They are counting on their base to be too stupid to see and they are.
This next year is going to be a killer for our household budget. With the tax increase and the health care increase we are going to be in a tight spot.

How many can’t see though this?
They didn’t want to vote on the issue because they were afraid that their vote would be used against them in the election,
in other words, they knew they were NOT ON THE SIDE OF THE PEOPLE.
Who can’t see this?

Obviously, they have something painful in mind. If what they were planning to do made the least bit of sense and/or was citizen friendly, they’d be pushing it through right now.

Their strategy is weasly and outright disgusting. Hang a carrot out there, promising tax cut extentions after the election, and then do whatever they want after the verdict is in.
What a cabal of criminals. the Mafia looks tame in comparison.
