America on the brink of a Second Revolution ( Comments on the Tea Party --Paul Farrell )

Commentary: 2010 elections guarantee gridlock, anti-capitalist class war

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. (MarketWatch) -- “What’s distinctive about the Tea Party is its anarchist streak -- its antagonism toward any authority, its belligerent self-expression, and its lack of any coherent program or alternative to the policies it condemns,” warns Jacob Weisberg in Newsweek. But why not three cheers for the Tea Party Express?

Admit it, something historic is brewing. And yes, it’s good for America, even the anarchy. Revolution is renewal. Tea-baggers want to take on both parties, “restore honor” and “take back the country.” Bring it on, the feeling’s mutual.

OK, maybe most Americans just silently mimic the words, “we’re mad as hell, won’t take it any more.” But watch out: After November the campaign’s shrill rhetoric explodes into action.

Tea-baggers are kicking the revolution into high gear. Debt is sinking America. Both parties are to blame. So vote out incumbents. Spare no one. We need new leadership, another Reagan or Truman. Congress better get the message: Cut that budget, or they’ll dump the rest of you in the coming Great Purge of 2012.

Unfortunately they’re tone deaf. Congress cannot see past the election. All that changes in November.

So thanks Tea Party, Vegas odds must favor a Second American Revolution. Actually, the revolution is already roaring, hot, it’s about time. The GOP and the Dems had more than a decade. But America’s worse off. We need a real revolution to restore sanity … or we can kiss democracy and capitalism good-bye, permanently.

Introduction To The Road Through 2012: Revolution or World War III

As the entrenched global banking cartel continues to control domestic political policy, the next phase of this crisis will inevitably feature an escalation into mass violence. As the Army War College stated, the Pentagon is preparing for “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States” and “widespread civil violence” due to “purposeful domestic resistance.”

America's Ruling Class -- And the Perils of Revolution

Then based on a followup article there was this thread:

Both articles from the American Spectator.

I just read the article. In many ways it sounds like my thinking. I used to say, back in the early 1970’s, that the US is like the proverbial farmer with his arm caught in a piece of machinery that is slowly dragging him in. He can cut off his arm and save his life, or just be drug in and killed.

And back then I said that we would never elect someone with the political will to cut off the arm and were, therefore, eventually going in. It just took a lot longer than I thought it would, and got much worse than I ever imagined.

In other countries this would end differently, but in the US we have an historical heritage that communicates with us today and, I suspect, will lead to actual violence. But it takes us getting to the point Gerald Celente discusses: “When people lose everything and have nothing to lose, they lose it.”

We have much more “comfort” to sacrifice than did our founding fathers, but we are losing enough of it that the decision to sacrifice will become easier. The catalyst could be the end of the free money to the “99ers”. Or are they 119ers yet?

It is a major reason I bought my farm in rural Kentucky.

Good comments....I think the Dems feel secure in their big cities....I am not so sure.

I do think they will be close to the action.

Once a politician has been beaten by a Tea Party candidate can we then refer to them as having been “tea bagged”?

We're all Tea Baggers now.

They think that they are being coy, but the smoke will clear, and soon they'll be their shrill selves crying in the wilderness wondering what the eff just happened.

They do not even have the sublime wit that such times require when opinion needs to be swayed. Instead they resort to twaddle and their absurd notions of subtlety.

First, I don’t seem much “belligerence” in the Tea Party. They’re pretty polite, actually, esp. compared to “Civil Rights” or Union groups.

Secondly, the fact that the MSM doesn’t publish Tea Party’s alternatives doesn’t mean they don’t exist. And sometimes “no alternative” is deliberate. There are programs and entire departments in the Federal Government that just need to go away.

As for the rest, its pretty obvious that this clown is a Democrat and a conspiracy theorist that blames “Wall Street” for responding to conditions created by the Federales.

Incoherent gibberish. He has no intellectual framework for his views. Small government can’t work. Big government can’t work. We’re doomed.

We are not. One thing hasn’t been tried and it worked for Harding in 1920. Cut spending and taxes. By 50%. In two years.

America on the brink of a Second Revolution by Paul B. Farrell « on: Today at 11:00:23 AM »

*************************************EXCERPT***************************************

Here are the 10 points we see in his message:

1. Expect nothing positive from Dems, the GOP or Tea Party

2. Democracy has become too-big-to-govern … by anyone

3. Clinton, Bush, Obama policies all feeding revolutionary flames

4. Bush’s biggest mistake: Goldman CEO Hank Paulson

5. All partisan political leaders are destined to sabotage America

6. America’s democratic capitalism trapped in systemic failure

7. Wall Street’s insatiable greed is a virus that never sleeps

8. New political leaders offer no hope -- Wall Street rules America

9. Praying for a messiah, we’re sleepwalking till the revolution

10. The Second American Revolution coming

Cities can neither feed, nor provide power for themselves. Most do not even have access to drinking water. If the war goes all out, the cities will be disaster areas. The progressives want anarchy, but they cannot survive the anarchy. The problem is that most of the radical Starbucks/iPhone progressives don't realize that they are completely dependent on the civilization that cannot possibly survive a civil war. No matter who wins.

It won't be all happiness and joy in the suburbs and farm lands. The starving progs will come out of their urban wastelands like the zombies in one of the old B movies. Grateful dead meat the evil dead. They will try to do to America what Pol Pot did to Cambodia, Mugabe did to Zimbabwe and Stalin did to the Ukraine. They will try to take the land by force of arms and numbers, only to find that they don't know what to do with the land once they have it.

Compared to this level of disaster a military dictatorship would be welcomed. Cesar Americanus is not far off. After all would you stand in front of a M1A2 to save Obama? Would you do battle with the combat engineers laying a kilometer deep mine field along out southern border. If they shut down MSNBC, and just ran reruns from the last four years would anyone even notice.
