Nick Marsh, one of the lawyers who prosecuted the late Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) for corruption, took his own life over the weekend, his attorney confirmed to The Hill.

NPR first reported Monday that Marsh committed suicide. Bob Luskin, Marsh's attorney, told The Hill on Monday that his former client committed suicide but said he did not know additional details.

Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer of the Department of Justice's Criminal Division conveyed his "deepest sympathies" to Marsh's family and friends.

0bamacare is a direct result of the prosecution of Ted Stevens. That was the one vote in the senate that made the difference. If I were responsible for that atrocity I would commit sepuku.

At least he knew his shame...Some of our elected leaders surely don’t know any.

I was thinking this guy might have been tipped over the edge by Stevens’ death in the plane crash. Because his accidental death took away his chance to enjoy what life he had left after he had been through the trials and tribulations of this prosecution, which might have increased this guy’s sense of guilt over his role.

Just a thought...

Wasn’t this guy under a criminal investigation referred by the Stevens judge?

I’m guessing this suicide is completely unrelated to Ted Stevens or his death.

Sounds like a simple case of Kenyacide to me... Too bad Congress won't assign an independent investigation.

IIRC, the prosecutors in the Stevens case were under investigation for misconduct. It was a politically motivated prosecution.

No way was this a suicide. The guy was a lawyer. You need a conscience to want to commit suicide. Lawyers don't have them.
