This mirrors the big battle that was going on between Blackberry and the Government of India. Indian security forces were concerned about Islamoterrorists using Blackberry to communicate, and the data being out of subpoena reach on servers in Canuckistan.

Where’s the outrage from the media? Just like the outrage over Bush and “wiretapping.”

America is rapidly becoming a super surveilled society.
Your liberties are fading away all in the name of....war on terror, war on drugs, war on drunk driving, war on crime.
The ever increasing growth of Uncle Sugar in all aspects of American lives from entitlements to diet control. From smoking to energy usage, from healthcare to what automobile you will drive.
It is so subtle yet so controlling. Americans have laws stacked on top of laws. Redundant regulation, over taxation.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Folks, we'd better wake up and demand smaller government! http://www.endofamericamovie.com/about-film/10-steps-that-close-an-open-society

Who the hell do they think they are fooling?
These asswipes have been tracking emails and internet correspondence since the 90's. This is just a way to make them "appear" to do it lawfully.
We have a government that is blatantly violating damn near every constitutional right we have.
THIS TOO SHALL BE RESOLVED IN THE NEXT REVOLUTION! IT CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH!

Didn't like it when Bush and the Republicans in Congress used 9/11 to make the federal government more powerful and more intrusive, and sure as hell don't like it when Nobama and the Democrats in Congress want to do the same.
What's really pathetic is that there are liberals and conservatives who are such cowards that they will immediately support an increase in the government's power and reach. All it takes is one little story about a potential terrorist attack and they immediately go running for the government to protect them.

Everybody is going to need SSL websites.
I notice Wikipedia has done that.
