I am camping this morning with my son and his cub scout pack. We’re going to chow.
Won’t be back for a long while.
Have a great day!
Morning all!
Thanks for the thread and have a good time camping.
Keep an eye out for bears and deranged RATs.
Power bump.
Another Sunday with Democrat participation at historic lows.
Too many uncomfortable questions would have to be asked. I guess I will have to see what Candy Crowley has to say to Dick Durbin. Will she challenge him at all?
Good morning and thanks for the thread. It means I don’t have to watch any of these clowns.
Do you think there will be any criticism at all of the circus that came to congress on Friday?
As for Conyers, did he have any idea where he was or who he was?
Wow—what an uncharacteristic lineup for FTN!
The US political Old Guard still refuse to open their eyes and see what is going on. Sadly this includes some of the most well know, radio hosts, bloggers and columnists on the Right. They still think of this as just another round in the political game. They still do not realize this is no longer a game, this is war.
The Republic is in danger.
Never in out history has the nation been governed by a group so fundamentally at odds with the values and the beliefs of the average citizen as the 0 Democrats.
In every other election the two sides shared some common values that linked them all as Americans. That is not the case this time. This time it is the Americans vrs the Anti Americans. Between those who value the exceptionalism of the USA and those who wish to destroy that exceptionalism and remake it in the style of a European Democrat Socialist country.
The old guard persists in thinking of this as just another election, just another round in the game where everyone shakes hands afterwords. That is not at all the case. We are now engaged in a remorseless revolutionary struggle where by either the Republic is restored or it is forever lost. This struggle is not going to end with the elections in November, this struggle will be going on for years.
In that struggle there is no middle ground. One is either on our side or against us. I know that is hard for the can't we all just get along GOP Establishment types to deal with but that is the reality in US politics we are living these day
Sunday Talk show ping.
True, Stenchy Hohwer is there "for our viewing pleasure"
And HITLER is on "This's Weak"
That's about all I can take.
Good Sunday morning all. As always, thanks for the thread AB.
I didn’t know too much about Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference and a Republican Rep from the 5th District of WA State] until recently. I believe she was at the hardware store when the Pubbies revealed ‘The Pledge’ last week.
Here’s a video she did that I liked. She’ll be doing a couple more:

Where’s Ms Fish?
As always, thank you for doing thread, enjoy the camping, don't do anything I wouldn't do.
So yeah, I like the new pledge for America. Well yeah, it's practically a tome when a few bullets would have done but hey, they're committing to something and in the future, feet can be held to the fire.
Some quick O'Donnell news-this past Weds. I attended the Sussex County Republic Women's Club's monthly luncheon. ALL of the candidates were there. Below, a few pics.
It was a hoot, packed with the press.
As I understand it Christine has hired some expert politcal operatives cause come on folks, at this luncheon she had her sister, a woman weighs 90 pounds soaking wet, trying to herd the press away from Christine. I, who weigh a bit more than 80 pounds, had to go over and help force back CNN, AP...the local yokels. And these guys don't carry little cameras like yours truly. They have great big huge boom things and they want to walk around that crowded luncheon room with servers trying to dish up meals and dear Lord...
Finally one CNN guy holds up the microphone to my face, asks my name, and says he has lots of footage with me in it...so he needs my name.
Heh.
What's happening now, and it's confusing as hell, is the local volunteer folk still want to run phone banks, do lit drops, ...that sort of thing. I myself was in on a conference call this past Friday night and nice folks, very nice folks, yon readers, but I'm not sure they get it.
I, as you'll likely not believe, was at a loss for words.
Hey, O'Donnell's got almost 3 million dollars! She needs experts to do this thing. Instead I hear "We're going to go around John Doe..." John Doe being a local campaign guru hired as the Sussex County Field Coordinator.
Now you can take what I know about campaigns and shove it up the behind of a flea, but I do know the English language and it seems to me that someone called a "field coordinator" would be the guy organizing things in, the...heh, FIELD!
I don't know how to hold up my hand to halt over a conference line and I didn't want to scream at these guys over the phone waves but come on....they can't just "go around" people appointed to do stuff...
Oh well....they want me to be the scribe, of sorts. I ain't writing a word until I hear from one of the duly appointed officials.
It's just a transition thing, I imagine, and I suppose it happens in all campaigns. But guys we got an entrenched group of O'Donnell devotees who might serious mess things up.
Liberal mother-in-law from Massachusetts visited last weekend. I vowed no political talk cause, just as a tease, this woman spent 8 days with me when husband was very sick and she was devoted to Barack Obama. She also loved Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman.
Got some tales of rue by an Obama voter who thought, oncit, that he was such a nice, clean young black man.
And I got to tell the story of the Choir Director, a saga that goes on, is sadder than sad, and has all kinds of tentacles in the Christine O'Donnell saga....cause when you live in a berg folks, you live in a berg.
Also will watch the Sunday talk shows cause couldn't last week with MIL. I was really a good doobie, yes I was, God loves me.
;)
What? Dennis Kucinich got aced out of another job he’s a natural for? Or, maybe, he had to prove that he is not an alien in order to be the official earth contact for the aliens. That would explain it..
Leave it to FTN to jam all 3 of those people into one 30-minute show. With commercials and breaks for Ol’ Bob to catch his breath in between questions, that leaves an average of 5 minutes per guest to say something.
