THE United Nations was set today to appoint an obscure Malaysian astrophysicist to act as Earth�s first contact for any aliens that may come visiting.
Mazlan Othman, the head of the UN's little-known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa), is to describe her potential new role next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinghamshire.
She is scheduled to tell delegates that the recent discovery of hundreds of planets around other stars has made the detection of extraterrestrial life more likely than ever before - and that means the UN must be ready to coordinate humanity’s response to any “first contact”.
During a talk Othman gave recently to fellow scientists, she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials.
"When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”

"The only way someone is going to get so many of these nations (think islam) to put aside their differences and unite is something that would appear to be threatening the whole planet.
The current directorship running the global economy into absolute bankruptcy will manufacture a global problem, like sudden global warming or sudden crop failures world-wide, or a plague that seems out of control, or the end of fossil suel being able to sustain the world's out-of-control population. That’s an interesting concept. I never thought of it quite that way.
Of course, I agree that the mark is going to be tied in, somehow, with showing your loyalty to mankind. I just never thought of it that way.

Language is a function of brain activity. No spoken language is needed to exchange messages from brain to brain, directly. Our problem will be our lack of familiarity with such methods since we have so programmed our brains to rely upon the conceptualizations transformed into words then spoken.

So many times I and others have said we in this Nation and worldwide are primed for deception. We see it playing out across our country in our businesses, educational systems, government and all places of influence. It's like a shadow over much of the world. Could very well mean the Lord is withdrawing His good Spirit as He said we should expect as that time to go home draws nearer. Still, it is sad in some repects to see this occur in my lifetime. Many are yet without Christ and we know what they will be facing ahead.
Have just been on a thread where you can see Yoga is highly accepted today, even within the Christian community. The church is truly being invaded by Eastern practices as the throngs of other nations multiply in our country. Our identity as a Nation under God is fast deteriorating as we see Christianity being manipulated by those in power both inside and outside the church. And this in full view of the audience and without shame, rather quite boastful and proud.
I am beginning to think that the world is at war now against Christianity as this shadow of deception crosses the continents. We push back but it does appear that since we are less than successful than hoped for the time may be indeed shorter than imagined.
I think the 2008 Financial Crisis was the beginning of an open and apparent consolidation of powers politically and economically/financially institutes. as we watch them align and remove those which are are a threat to their agenda. It is really moving rapidly now.
I am hoping that the US itself, though will cease to be of influence in the world as it has known, non the less will maintain it's Independence...though the powers that be will surely require our military (our people) to lay their life on the line on an international scale. The only way parents will allow this will be by a required time all must serve. Bo and his wife are currently setting us up for just that.
And so here we are...but we continue to fight the good fight of faith, present the Gospel to who will hear...and pray that Gods mercy will flow to those yet to come to Him... before that hour which will come....”in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye...when the trumpet sounds......”

If a nuclear war breaks out in the ME between monotheistic islam and monotheistic Israel (supported by monotheistic christians) then the world will see monotheism as the threat.
Islam is being used as a vehicle to justify the worldly dread of that "savour of death unto death"

I think many Christians are well aware the most we can expect to do is slow down this march toward the ‘New World Order”...and so many leaders, home and abroad, no longer whisper this behind closed doors as in the past, but are right out there promoting it to the masses and little resistance to it.
