Is that a rat I smell? Just like magic there is now a second printing...and I bet his ranking on Amazon jumped a few hundred thousand places with this story.
That’s one way to sell copy.
>DoD decided to purchase copies of the first printing because they contained information which could cause damage to national security
1) Doesn’t that finance a second printing?
2) Was it something particularly damning to the higher-ups, like proof of a conspiracy to put illegitimate ideologues into offices of power?
Shaffer doesn’t strike me as the type to expose national secrets for personal gain. I suspect there are some partisan secrets that are in play here.
I remember when the pentagon boxed up his belongings and sent them to him....only to turn around and accuse him of theft.
Shafer was with the Able/Danger team that identified the 9/11 terrorists and was silenced by Clintons, Gorelick, and all the leftover Clinton goons in the Bush admin.
well i dont think tax payers should be paying for this
By their admission of their intent, his is actually a First Amendment violation (suppression of free speech) by an agency of the government.
The Feds don’t want the truth to get out.
Read the comments posted on this at Amazon.com - very interesting comments.

able danger part deaux?
From personal experience; LTC “Tony” Shaffer has stretched reality at times. Regards.
No further comment; SINE PARI out.
Simple solution: go to a 2nd printing. Author and publisher should be happy.
He must have pissed in somebody’s messkit to get the DoD down on him like this. Must be hitting close to a nerve.
Meanwhile, he tops Bookscan...
While whining over the burning of a few copies of the genocidal koran, the US shows its abilities at book destruction to hide its complicity in islamist terror. Nice.
Well it would seem that if the DoD had a legal case they would have confiscated the books through a court order and not purchased them.
Purchasing them would imply they are simply trying to make the offending information go away under the radar.
recalling Able Danger days — hope that Shaffer’s book has something of importance to tell us!

The House Armed Services Committee, and the Subcommittee on Terrorism Hold a Joint Hearing on the Able Danger Program.
C-span canceled showing the open hearing at the last minute.
Why won’t the media let the public watch the “Demeanor” of the witnesses of the open hearing that started at 2:38pm on Feb. 15, 2006 about Able Danger???
