A group of residents in Stokes County North Carolina are fighting back against the authorities to keep a Christian flag at a war memorial. WXII reported:
A group of Stokes County residents said Thursday they plan to stake out the Veterans Memorial every hour of every day for the next month, ensuring that a Christian flag is being displayed at the site.
A group of about 15 people were displaying the flag at the site Thursday. King City Council members voted last week to remove the flag after determining that fighting a potential lawsuit wasn’t worth it.
The 24/7 vigil is being organized by Ray Martini, a Vietnam War veteran. By Thursday afternoon, a tent had been erected to provide shelter.
Members of the community have vehemently opposed the removal of the flag, staging a rally on Monday evening attended by several hundred in the community. Many residents have been scurrying to buy Christian flags to display on homes and cars. A local Christian retailer said Wednesday they haven’t been able to keep up with the demand.
An anonymous man complained to City Manager John Cater earlier this summer, saying that flying the flag was unconstitutional. Cater then received a letter from the American Civil Liberties Union charging that flying the flag on public property violates the Constitution.
The man refused to identify himself, saying he fears for his family, home and business. He has said he is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
The man said earlier this week that he also wants a cross removed from a small display at the site that shows a soldier kneeling at the grave of a fallen comrade.
The people have had enough. Good for them.

Although I’m an deist at best, I love Christian values. Carry on Christian soldiers...never give up your values that have made the World so much better.

Frankly, the guy who complained is lucky he wasn't skinned alive, chopped into pieces and tossed into the fields to be eaten by wild dogs ~ but I digress.
If he crawled on broken glass to apologize, and ratted out the ACLU punk he complained to, maybe he can be readmitted to the community, but otherwise I'd say he needs to leave town soon.

These people are ghouls and should be treated as such.
This MUST happen across the nation. THE PEOPLE must IGNORE the rulings of leftist judges and county/town/city/state bureaucrats and political hacks.
This “wall of separation” nonsense has to go. It won’t go until more people like these stand up for their Natural, Constitutional rights.
If the majority would fight back like this everytime, in even greater numbers, we wouldn’t be lead by the whining weasly minority

They really don't have a leg to stand on. I don't think the flag is there because Congress made a law establishing its presence.
To me the key point here is that members of the community overwhelmingly want the flag displayed. It is only some fascist in the ACLU (4 lies in one) in some far-off socialist haven that has a problem. F 'em.

American - if it is American, how come it's values and actions are almost always anti-American and go against the values held by a majority of Americans?
Civil - they are anything but civil, threatening or bringing lawsuits at the drop of a hat.
Liberty - that's a laugh, the stomp on more peoples' liberties than any other group in America save maybe Congress.
Union - funny that an organization that is so divisive would have union in its name. Then again, so-called liberals love the lie, love to lie, so maybe it isn't so odd.
Perhaps they mean “Union” as in “Soyuz”?
The libs want to take God out of Government so the Government can become gods.
