As far as I am concerned he is the most hated man in the GOP, I dislike him 20 times more than McCain even, I cannot believe this guy
I don’t know. We in FR could have a good contest to see who is worse. On one hand McCain emboldens all the politicians who say one thing to get elected then do another in office but even the people around McCain find him unreliable.
Tokyo Rove, on the other hand, is manically consistent in undermining the principles of America. He presents superficial data and people believe it as lasting truth. A politician sees a poll where he’s 11 points behind and Rove tells him that if he is for the DREAM act, that takes 4% away from his opponent, against earmarks, that’s worth 3% and if he talks tough on taxes and defense then that’s another 5% to get to 51% vs. 49%.
Thinking about it, it’s the two together which is so evil. Rove makes the argument for going along with the press’s storyline and McCain that validates the argument.
I would like for someone to put a transcript up of what Rove said....lots of folks bashing him for bashing her...but without a transcript, how are we to know?
I’m talking about Rove, yes.
One thing is for sure. People can watch the same thing and see something totally different.
I didn’t see it so now I will have to see it for myself.
Yesterday Rove seemed to back off some. Odd.
I think he got his head out of his butt finally and seemed really excited that she had hired all these great people for her campaign.
His entire body language was different tonight and I did not have to throw my shoe at the telly. Pleasant surprise.....
he did not rail on her...man u r like a Democrat now.
I think that poster was being too sensitive. Rove was actually reasonable tonight. If he had spoken this way the night of her election he wouldn’t have taken so much heat. He still doesn’t agree with her selection but his responses were fair and tempered. I say this not as a fan of the man.
I will say at this point I’d rather he not speak on her at all but Hannity led him there.
The poster did not accurately portray rove’s appearance on Hannity. I saw it, and as others have commented he was complimentary and pointed out all that she has been doing right to correct what he perceived as problems. Scythian’s depiction is totally inaccurate.
see my post above ....This is crazy
It’s over, Karl. Christine is the candidate. Grow up. You want to see the Marxist in office?
UH....we must have heard different Hannity programs....I did NOT think he went “off” on O’Donnell at all...if anything I thought he was gracefully backtracking...
Maybe we didn’t watch the same Karl Rove. My impression was that he was backpedaling as much as would be consistent with saving face. He talked about what Christine O’Donnell was doing right regarding some of the issues he had raised before, and didn’t trash her at all.
Sean knows who butters his bread. Sean is no conservative, he is just a Republican shill that does what his is told to do.
“I never liked the guy because he never seemed honest, he always spoke and acted like he was up to no good.”
Well, he was up to no good against the bad guys back then. Plus the left hated him so dang much, it was hard not to like him.
Get rid of ALL of them “deadbeats”!
Absolutely
Everyone wo didn’t see it do yourselves a favor and watch it before remarking on it. IMO what he sadi was misrepresented in the first post.
He completely failed politically by advising idiot george to ignore the firestorm of hate that was being set by the democrats even as his feet began to smoke.
He insulted all decent Americans and endangered our country by pushing amnesty, when it was obvious to a blind man on a fast horse that the security of the nation was at stake.
Now, his puny gig with Fox is about up, his worthless book of rationalizations and blame shifting has gone belly up, and he needs a job. He thought he could buy one from Castle as an advisor or some such corrupt bullshit beltway position, but LO! and behold, the rino a-hole got his butt kicked by a real American. Karl Rove, like Tom D'Asshole, is deeply saddened tonoght.
Scythian posts a negative comment and you all jump on the ‘attack Rove’ bandwagon like a bunch of lemmings.
How many of you heard what Rove actually said?
I was listening and agree with McGavin999 that Rove was quite complimentary of O’Donnell. He said she’s doing ‘all the right’ things now, is right on very issue and just has to get her message out to the voters!
That doesn’t sound like ‘railing’ to me.
GD Fox et al .. stop letting the left define the debate. Go after THEIR candidate.
Good grief
