Barack Obama is reportedly steaming mad after learning that his mother-in-law is openly practicing Santeria in the White House.
72-year-old Marian Robinson, who lives in the White House and looks after Obama brats Sasha and Malia, began practicing the Afro-Hispanic witchcraft in the late 1980′s to help her ailing husband, who was crippled from multiple sclerosis. Robinson took him to ceremonies where they did spells and trances, and sacrificed animals, chickens and goats, which upset Michelle, a close friend reports. But Marian was desperate and kept going anyway, even when her husband was to sick to go with her. Michelle never brought up the incidents after her father passed away in 1993.
The friend says Robinson is now afraid for her health and recently invited an old friend with whom she practiced Santeria with to the White House. Michelle is said to have flipped when she saw the woman.
Michelle & Mom Obama is quite upset about this on two different levels. First, he is a committed Christian, no matter what his critics say about Reverend Wright. He is adamant that Sasha and Malia be raised with Christian influences. He does not want them to be involved with African voodoo. And secondly, he is worried about the political fallout if his enemies get wind of this. Rev. Wright was bad enough, but this would be political suicide, a close friend of Michelles confided.
Obama reportedly has told Michelle that her mother will have to go back to Chicago if she does not stop this witchcraft mumbo-jumbo immediately and ordered the Secret Service to not allow Marians friend to return to the White House.
"Brats" is a loaded word, isn't it? It detracts from whatever the point was supposed to be here.

Was it really necessary for the article to call the Obama children brats? I mean they are just kids. It tainted the rest of the article for me.

I agree wholeheartedly GOPPachyderm. Nothing is to be gained by making targets of people’s children that have done nothing to deserve it. PLUS who among us would like their children called brats for no reason?
Also, this blog or whatever, that this appeared in has used an article from 8/09! It is at the link provided by ilovesarah2012 in post 11.
Not sure why this is just appearing now, but the site that posted it is a day late and a dollar short.
Obama carrying charms ... it looks as though all of this information is from an Alex Jones website article from 2009. Interesting information, but the witchcraft story didn’t happen recently. Yes?

Do you mean to say that up to that point you were buying this?

Maybe if I saw some documentation ... marriage licenses, birth certificates, that sort of thing ... I could work it all out...
Well, this is the first time I've heard of Santaria being described this way. I've always heard it described as VooDoo with a little Catholicism thrown in.
So what if she is? We will be told that we simply don’t understand that this is a cherished tradition in Afro-Hispanic culture, and we are all insensitive, uniformed bigots for daring to question this practice.
While I agree with you, I do want to point out that the term "brats" pales in comparison to what libs have said about children of conservatives. The press and bloggers have treated Sarah Palin's children in particular very badly.
They should be ashamed of doing that, of course, but libs have no shame.
Remember how the lefties had a cow over Nancy Reagan consulting an astrologer? While I think all that stuff is stupid and anti-Christian, possibly even spiritually dangerous; let’s see whether the Mainslimes have as big a cow over THIS as they did over Nancy.
This story is from Aug. 2009
The MSM will just say he carries them around as a snack...
Actually, I quit reading after the word “brats”. That told something about the person who wrote this.........
Santeria-Sharia. A scary combination to be sure. Just think of the possible practices.
Why not, her son-in-law may be the antiCHRIST.
What goes around comes around.
