The California State Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) announced their “unconditional support” of Prop 19, the initiative to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana, at a news conference last week.

Hmmm...it couldn't be that they break the marijuana possession law two to four times as much, could it?
The first drug laws were just like the first gun control laws, racist to the core.
Seems to fall into the same percentage rates as black single parents and violent offenders when compared to the crackers living around them.
I suppose they think those are racist facts also?
How about the war on auto theft, home/business burglaries, convenient store robberies, black on black murders? Is that racist, too?
Maybe if the NAACP concentrated on out of wedlock births, high school dropouts, single female households, financial responsibility, the black community wouldn’t have such a drug problem. The time for excuses is long past.
I live in a racially and ethnically mixed little neighborhood where there are a lot of mother/father/children black and Hispanic families and they seem to be doing well. Nice cars, nice yards, friendly, take their children to school, they go to work. It really comes down to “conservative values?” They seem to work for everyone, regardless of race or ethnicity.
Logic and math are racist.
I think that in order to save time and effort, the NAALCP sould just tell us who or what they do NOT consider to be “racist”.
I’ve been called a racist on other boards for linking to facts like those directly from the justice department when making a point.
I remember watching a TV debate decades ago between Orin Hatch and Jesse Jackson on gun control. (Hatch against, Jackson for.) Jackson was going on about how well gun control has worked in England and how violent the US is by comparison. Hatch responded by stating: Mr. Jackson. If you remove the violent crimes committed by Blacks between the ages of 18 and 30, the US would have a lower crime rate than Switzerland.
Jackson had nothing to say...
And when you are unable to support yourself, well you feel sad and how do we handle that? Drinking and drugs!
The Libs have created a self-perpetuating way to get elected. To Hell with the country, all the Libs care about is getting elected.

Bureau of Narcotics chief Harry Anslinger actually testified before Congress in the leadup to the passage of the first federal marijuana prohibition law in 1937 that it (marijuana) makes 'white women have sex with black jazz musicians'. In this case, unlike so many others, the NAALCP's accusation of racism vis-a-vis pot prohibition is spot on.
A mere Koinkydink. The fact one race or the other has a decided preference for MJ doesn’t make cracking down on its use racist ~ it is, in fact, the PREFERENCE that’s racist.
94% of Americans don’t use drugs.
Recall the recent news story about how bad drug use had become due to the economy. “22 million Americans used drugs in the last year.” They made it sound so widespread, until you do a little math. That’s 22 out of over 300 million Americans—about 6%, or to put it another way: 94% of Americans did not use drugs in the last year.
Think the numbers are under reported? Fine, double, no triple the reported drug use. Now we’re talking a whopping 18%, which means 82% of Americans don’t use drugs.
Why do news stories always make drug use sound so much more that it really is? Why don’t we try trumpeting the truth for a change. It is just a small minority of Americans that use drugs.
They can’t just come out and tell us what is and isn’t racist at any given time, so much of that depends on the circumstances and benefits they can get by applying the label.
It all varies when abstract things, especially money and personal gain, are applied to the equation.
We are dealing with the worlds dumbest man here,what more would you expect?They have been given everything ,Lowered every standard so we can’t compete in the world market,now want the LAWS changed just for them.
Suggestion NAACP grow a brain so you can function in a normal society!

Not to mention also a disproportionately high rate of abortion as well.
Otherwise, your words pretty much sum it up. Without a victim culture, a lot more people in this country would be truly ‘free’, with less crime as well.
