Fresh off her victory in Delaware, GOP U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is riding a wave of campaign cash but also internet infamy, thanks in part to her controversial statements -- most notably on masturbation -- in the late 1990s on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect." Christine O'Donnell says one of her first dates occurred on a satanic altar.
On Friday, Maher released on his new HBO show, "Real Time," an unaired clip of O'Donnell admitting to a brief dalliance with witchcraft.

Rove, the architect of the lost decade—that Karl Rove.
She’s a mess?
Coons is a flat out Marxist. How do you describe him?
If you were me, living in DE as I do, who would you choose at this point in time, pal?
The Marxist or the pro-life woman?
The pet of Harry Reid or the woman who will vote for fiscal sanity and restraint in the Senate?
The tax raiser of New Castle County or the steadfast girl who will take a stand against wasteful government spending of YOUR money?
The pro-embryonic stem cell killer or a defender of human life at all ages?
The Communist or the one who believes the Constitution is not just pretty wallpaper?
C’mon. You can play. It is really is not all that hard.
Now let’s see if I can play YOUR little game.
You say I need an m,o,r,o,n.
Lessee—oh, I know—M-ostly O-ldDeckHand R-oves O-’Donnell N-eedlessly.
Yeah, that’s the ticket.
You really need to ask yourself why you are here on FreeRepublic.
A certain cadre of freepers have decided that the rules of honesty and character do not apply as long as the person in question says the currently right thing. It's pathetic.
>>O’Donnell is an odd bird.<<
She really, really is. Who IS this person?
I hope she beats the Marxist, no doubt. But we definitely are buying a pig in a poke.
O'Donnell. But, I wouldn't pretend that she's not the kind of idiot that she clearly is.
This is where you and I differ, apparently. You put politics ahead of intellect. I don't. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that O'Donnell is a nut - at best.
"You really need to ask yourself why you are here on FreeRepublic"
To candidly and honestly discuss conservative ideas, policies and candidates. You are apparently on here to avoid any honest discussion and cheer-lead for whomever is the conservative savior de jure. I'm not an idol worshiper. I'm a conservative. I don't know if the same could be said for you.
He is a concern mole. PDS is rotting his brain.
You do understand that when O'Donnell lost the Republican Senate primary in 2006, she ran as a write-in, right?
I'd love to support her. If she'd start doing smart things, maybe I would. NOT going on Fox News Channel as a Republican senatorial candidate is not a smart thing.
This is yet another example of your inability to check your 'facts'. You seem to see yourself as some sort of online Charles Krauthammer, but in reality, my Siberian Husky is more adept at political analysis than you are. And the 'political analysis' that comes out of him smells eerily similar to yours.
They just had one, and she trounced him.
.
” Wicca is a religion no different than Christianity...”
Wrong. WAY different.
I still hope she wins.
Check my facts - you mean the link she provided JUST YESTERDAY to the rest of her website. You're entitled to your own BS ideas, but you're not entitled to your own facts.
Christine O' Donnell for Senate website scrubbed of all content
O’Donnell is anything but an airhead.
She comes on positively in all public encounters.
Too bad for your guy.
Says the guy whose only play is to trade in personal insults. Yep, that's convincing /s
>>A certain cadre of freepers have decided that the rules of honesty and character do not apply as long as the person in question says the currently right thing. It’s pathetic.<<
At this point we have only 2 choices. We either support a conservative working for smaller government, fiscal responsibility, and free enterprise or we support a candidate who is a self avowed Marxist, wants government control and redistribution of wealth.
You decide which you will support. I support ODonnell, faults and all.
He is an AntiChristian, and O’Donnell has been strong in the Christian Colaition.
That and only that is the reason for any and all negative comments.
.
I’m not making a value judgement about her one way or the other.
I’m just giving an opinion about how this might play in Peoria.
Politics in the 90’s:
“I smoked but I didn’t inhale”
Politics in the 2000’s:
“I made the voodoo doll but never stuck the pins in”
Just to be clear, then that’s TWO conservatives who used the word “masses”? Just checking?
> “Why don’t you see what Coon’s has been guilty of?”
.
He’s here to tear O’Donnell down because she is an openly Christian Candidate, and he is openly anti-christian.
.
it's pretty funny that someone who spent almost 20 years trying to become an insider is now representing herself as the consummate outsider.
I recommend reading the text of her leftist lawsuit against ISI. It gives us a lot of insight into her thought process. According to her own court filing, she laid awake every night for months after her firing reliving the incident in her head until her mother and sister persuaded her to seek psychiatric treatment. She was 34 years old at the time.
No, where you and I differ is that you think she is a nut, and cannot offer convincing proof.
Everything Rove accused her of was asked and answered, with documentation.
So, she dabbled in witchcraft. So what?
Has she lied about it? Has she deceived anyone about it?
You’re the one using a comedy show that was a humorous political bull session 11 years ago to nail her hide to the tree when there is serious business at hand.
You vainly try to build a case on nothing.
No sale.
I don’t see you taking the slings and arrows she is.
I don’t see you being perfect under the withering onslaught of attacks she has borne.
I don’t see you still standing after Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer attack your character and veracity.
I don’t see you taking on the entrenched political establishment and paying the price like she is.
At least she is in the arena, fighting for me and my family and I can respect that.
What I can’t respect is all of you naysayers trying to drag this all too human candidate through the mud instead at least fighting the Left on her behalf, with the future of the country at stake.
So move on, and let real patriots fight for the citizen candidate who is not oh-so-polished-and-urbane.
You can sit there and risk nothing if you are right.
I am committed to her, and risk looking stupid if I am wrong.
My money and time are already invested in her, you know, “the idiot”.
So sit there and snipe. May your chains rest lightly upon you if she loses.
