WELLESLEY
(Excerpt) Read more at boston.com ...
I honestly think in that spot I'd say a field trip to a religious institution during the school day is inappropriate.
They took prayer out of school and stuck it in the mosque.
Yes, Fired AND it would be on the front page of the New York Times.
Who is “he”?
A whole bunch of people at that Wellesley school should lose their jobs. Wellesley is one of the richest per capita towns in our country. This should not be allowed to go unpunished in one of America's most "affluent" communities.
Why? Because our fundamental constitutional rights do not encompass the culture of this "religion" in addition to infringing the establishment clause.
TOLERANCE must not infringe our constitutional rights.
Teaching students to submit to Islam is WRONG!! We ,as a free people, do not "tolerate" such things as this, nor should students be taught that it is legitimate:
MUSLIM HONOR KILLINGS IN 21ST CENTURY AMERICAWith Islam gaining an ever greater foothold in America, we will see more and more advocates for Sharia Law. That which most Americans find distasteful and barbaric-already manifests in the United States with seven million Muslims. We will see violent treatment of more and more women and suffer more and more court cases of Muslim men as they kill their wives and daughters for disobeying them. You can take a person out of a culture, but you cannot take the culture out of the person.
Fox News, January 1, 2008 reported a Muslim honor killing in Garrett, Texas when a 12 year old girl and her sister called 911, screaming, "My dad shot me; I am dying." She and her sister died before an ambulance arrived. Reason: father didn't like them wearing western jeans and blouses.
"Honor Killing in Texas" by Robert Spencer, 01/08/2008. "Amina Said, 18, and her sister Sarah, 17, smile happily in one widely circulating photo, and Amina is wearing what looks like a sweatshirt bearing the name "AMERICAN." But their fate may have been the herald of a new, disquieting feature of the American landscape: honor killing. Amina and Sarah were shot dead in Irving, Texas, on New Year's Day. Police are searching for their father, Yaser Abdel Said, on a warrant for capital murder."
In Clayton County, Georgia, January 26, 2009, a Pakistani immigrant father, Chaudry Rashid strangled his daughter for not accepting his choice of a husband. She wanted a divorce. She was 14 when she died. "Man Accused Of Killing Daughter For Family Honor" by Jamie Tarabay of NPR. "Honor killings are old rites of murder within families, committed because of some perceived dishonor or shame. The United Nations estimates around 5,000 deaths occur each year - mostly of women, mostly in South Asia and the Middle East."
In New York, February 16, 2009, FOX News, Joshua Rhett Miller reported, "The estranged wife of a Muslim television executive feared for her life after filing for divorce last month from her abusive husband," her attorney said - and was found beheaded Thursday in his upstate New York television studio. Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37, was found dead on Thursday at the offices of Bridges TV in Orchard Park, N.Y., near Buffalo. Her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, has reportedly been charged with second-degree murder. "She was very much aware of the potential ramification of her filing for divorce might have," said attorney Elizabeth DiPirro, whose law firm represented Aasiya Hassan in the divorce proceeding. "But she wanted to proceed despite the potential for it to erupt."

Should read "...during the Wellesley trip, girls and women were instructed to stay at the back of the room during the prayer service as per Sharia Law."
We have the same problem here in Raleigh.
The new name is 'Economic Diversity'.
We elected a conservative school board. The new board wants to implement neighborhood schools.
Boy, the libs protest every school board meeting. Demonstrations , arrests, the whole nine yards. They want to keep busing the kids all over the county.
That’s why it was easy for her to admit it. : )
cant wait to give them a big hug and sing Kumbaya with them.
Excellent point; the enemy of my enemy is my friend; remember Liberalism is about some level of anarchy for themselves and not others
Most of all this stems from Marx, Lenin, Communism and Maoism, and used to deconstruct, propagandize and remake society for the political class, to be the arbiters of social benefits: class, education, money and status.
Remember Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell were written to reflect and explain in simple terms reality. Its amazing how the left focuses on J.F.K two shooter theories for decades as a distraction. However, make excuses for every deviant pop-culture premise in light of empirical proof, and will not support factual conditions and their related issues; such as Islam is about hate, death, oppresses individuals, women and groups who do not support their precepts
As much as I blame this idiot administrator, I also have plenty of blame to go around for the idiot parents who send their kids to this school.
I’m kinda surprised she is apologizing. After all, Islam is a religion of peace (barf) and I wonder just how many parents of these students even actually objected.
Yeah? Where's the tape of Christian kids being made to parade the Torah at Shabbat service? Liar!
The parents need to take control of the school and its activities, or live with the consequences of their approvals and stop whining!
This is my 44th year in education, and I know less than when I started. <^..^>
I'm substituting now, so I get to encounter a variety of urban schools. It just seems that small well-run neighborhood schools with excellent administrators function the best. The only reason specialized schools work better is that they're expected to.
Most educators and parents do seem to know that, but it's just not in their hands. If a child won't or can't learn in a school in their neighborhood, a long walk or bus ride isn't what's going to make the difference. JMOH
