Delaware Senate GOP candidate Christine O'Donnell said in 2008 that then-Sen. Barack Obama was "anti-American."
O'Donnell suggested during an interview on Fox News that then-presidential candidate Obama was "anti-American," and attempted to explain why.
"I would prefer Barack Obama because he is so liberal, that he's anti-American," O'Donnell said when asked if Republicans would prefer to face Obama or his then-primary opponent, Hillary Clinton.
"Let me explain why. He's beating the change drum, but let's look at the change. He did not vote for English as the official language. What does that say?" O'Donnell added.

As Glenn Beck has said.
“You don’t want to ‘fundamentally change’ that which you truly love and cherish.”
Damn near clairvoyant!
Here we go.......they say this as though it were a negative for O’Donnell - I’d call it prescient.

Two points:
1) She was right.
2) She couldn’t have been so obscure if she appeared on Fox News two years ago.
I’m sure they think they are damaging her by bringing this up, but the fact is if this election becomes a referendum on Obama, the Democrat will lose and lose big.

So, she was just ahead of the curve. Hardly a controversial statement today.
Thank goodness...a Republican who got Obama just like we did.
Many others were slow on the uptick, deciding instead to admire the crease in his pants, and the cut of his jib.
BARF!
Not insightful, truthful. I think Chris Mathews to Harry Reid know Obama is anti American because they are too. She just said it.
Sounds like she nailed him.
Meanwhile back in the Hive of DC Rove and others have been Collaborating with the enemy.
Wow,
http://www.christine2010.com passed $500,000 in the past half hour!
Who woulda thought the women would rescue America?
What’s true is true.
That was then. These days it's obvious to millions of people that Christine and Michele were correct.
I guess among the “chattering class”,
this is supposed to be a negative.
They still don’t quite comprehend their doom yet.
The truth of the statement, from whomever spake is still the truth.
If women and minorities read enough history to find out what Democrats have done to them they will become the most vigorous of warriors against them
wow, soon to pass $750K.... then $1 million......
Hive of DC is correct....imo, we should have sacked DC and hung them all, after that healthcare vote.
I don’t believe the ballot box can save us anymore, but the tea party will help us to die with our boots on at least.
