Darn tootin’
Paladino can do it if he runs his campaign right. He went up against the establishment candidate and he can say he will not be the status quo in Albany. He needs to follow in the footsteps of Christie in New Jersey.
Lazio ran a pretty pathetic campaign against the Hildebeast in 2000.
Donald Duck would have beaten Lazio by 85-15 and had a better chance of beating Cuomo than Palladino.
A white flag would be fine... they could just give up now...
Somebody make me a T-Shirt and Bumber-Sticker.
Talk about the straight talk Express.
Paladino is a great bomb thrower.
American’s want more Pols, especially Republicans, that don’t mince words or communicate in PC Bull Bleep.
It also makes for great TV.
Pass the popcorn. If nothing else this will be a great race to watch for pure entertainment.
I tell you what should scare them: Gillibrand got well south of 50% of the combined primaries’ votes. Not that her Democratic challenger ran to the right, but it still signifies the anti-incumbency mood.
"..In the August 5, 2008 issue of The Village Voice, Wayne Barrett argued that Andrew Cuomo made a series of decisions as Secretary of HUD between 1997 and 2001 that helped give birth to the country's current credit crisis:
"He took actions thatin combination with many other factorshelped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the subprime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments. He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded "kickbacks" to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why."[23]..."
Lazio is simply NOT impressive, in any way.
Can you hear us now?
Most of us are tired of having to choose between the lesser of two leftists.
