Sarah Palins candidate in the Republican primary on Staten Island, Michael Grimm, beat his challenger, Michael Allegretti, according to New York 1 News and the Daily News.
Grimm, who was also backed by Rudy Giuliani, was a former FBI agent and Marine veteran. He was criticized for raising a lot of money outside the district, and not having lived there as long as Allegretti, whose family ran a local business on the Brooklyn side of the district.

Grimm will take on freshman Rep. Michael McMahon, a moderate Democrat who has the backing of the Conservative Party and who voted against Obamas health care policy.
McMahon came under criticism earlier when a campaign aide distributed to a reporter documents that described how much money Grimm raised outside the district, labeling one category as Jewish money. The campaign aide was fired and McMahon apologized.

Good News.
I am waiting to see what her candidate in New Hampshire did. I think that is the last one that we are waiting for. If she wins that one she is golden.
Meanwhile, Hoffman seems to lose to Doheny in NY-23.
The RNC/NRSC elitists are having hissy-fits
“If she wins that one she is golden.”
She is already golden. She is winning the majority of them.
If ya got both Rudy and Sarah, you must be doing something right....
Glad to see my money paying off!!
I stopped going to movies, renting movies, going out etc.. etc. Not to save that money. To donate to candidates!!
It’s closed within a few percentage points!
There are no moderate democrats. They voted in Pelosi and they will do it again. They were given a pass to vote against some bills because their vote didnt count.

Good going and great job! Thank you Patriot!
The NH Senate race is getting closer as the night goes on.
Ovide Lamontagne 26,679 39%
Kelly Ayotte (Palin’s pick) 26,240 38%
Earlier, Lamontagne led by 2,000+ votes. Now his lead is down to 400 votes.
You wanna dance in our GOP, you pay the piper. Actually, you pay Piper’s Mom. She’s the Killa from Wasilla, the original Moma Bear, Sarah Barracuda!
NH Senate race moving in Ayotte’s favor.
She’s now leading by 200 votes, with about 50% of precincts reporting.
Well, it’s kind of fitting, since there is no conservative party in NY. :)
There is no doubt that some of these candidates are rookies and will be facing democratic veterans in the general election. They could definitely use the support of mainline GOP.
Well there is the Conservative Party of New York State, which backed the Democrat.
I think you missed my point. There IS NO conservative party in NY. ESPECIALLY the Conservative Party. They picked up street cred for the Hoffman stunt, but they screwed the pooch with Lazio, this seat, and a number of others.
