Should be exciting, I am a lousy prognosticator.

I’m in NY-29, and used that newfangled optical scanner voting machine for the fist time. I’ll be voting absentee next time. And turnout in my little neck of the woods has been pretty sparse.

Lets throw some RINO on the barbecue, open up a bottle of Sam Adams and get this tea party started!

Voted in the NY Republican primary this afternoon. The new voting machines will take a lot of getting used to, as I’m accustomed to a big booth with a curtain where you click buttons to vote for someone.

I voted for the most conservative candidates I could find in each race.

While we’re waiting for 1st results let me take this time to encourage everyone to sign up for election day (Nov 2) precinct work. It’s a long dedicated day but so worth it later and everyone should do it at least once in their life imo. California allows part time precinct work — Say 1/2 day morning shift or 1/2 day afternoon/evening shift. Check with your County.

And if you do it KEEP YOUR EYES AND EARS OPEN and a notepad handy for anything you find “odd” or questionable — it’s going to be a fascinating election.
