MISSION - A preliminary investigation reveals Border Patrol agents may have hit one of the gunmen who fired at them this weekend.
The shooting happened Saturday morning. Border Patrol agents chased a vehicle to an area south of Mission. They say it was loaded with drugs. We’re told armed men in Mexico shot at Border Patrol agents traveling on a boat.
Agents returned fire. The Border Patrol agents were not injured. But FBI agents suspect one of the gunmen in Mexico was hit and possibly killed. This is based on preliminary information, which FBI agents will continue to follow up on today.

I hope I am wrong but it seems to me like the violence is increasing and it is only a matter of time until a BIG conflict occurs there (with the loss of a lot of American lives). I pray that I am wrong.

I would envision that it would explode in the form of a group of cartel members taking control of a small town on the American side of the border. Something like that would not end well, I'm afraid.
